I would rather have unlimited yarn! I can always carve out a schedule for crafting time, but some months it’s hard to have a yarn-buying budget. I could do all the projects I want as long as I have yarn!

Do I really have to pick? Ultimately, it would have to be yarn. After all, what’s the crafting time without the yarn with which to craft? Though that time could always be used for other pursuits, like reading.
Oh, that’s a toughie. But, I’m always short on time so I would pick unlimited crafting time. Easier to buy yarn than get more time.
I agree- more time. It’s the one thing we can never get enough of.
I think unlimited yarn. I tend to crochet or knit whenever spending time with friends, riding in the car, waiting rooms for appointments, etc. as well as when watching TV. My budget has recently been reduced, so yarn purchases are having to be cut back, which makes me sad.
I am retired. I have time. So it’s yarn for me.

As tempted as I am to say unlimited crafting time, I think logically I would have to go with unlimited yarn. I could always find some time to use the yarn, but I wouldn’t necessarily be always able to find the supplies to use the unlimited crafting time.

This is a hard one as I’m not quick at knitting or crochet so unlimited craft time is appealing. However if I learn to prioritise a bit of me time each day (which I really should) then unlimited yarn would be my choice.

I would choose the unlimited yarn. There are usually opportunities for quiet moments when you can sneak in a row or two, but if you have no yarn there is no opportunities.

I think I would rather have unlimited yarn! Yarn can get out of my budget very quickly so if I can have all the yarn I want I would be in Heaven! On the other hand, unlimited crafting time would be great especially being a wife and a first time mom I don’t get much time to craft nowadays.

I would love to have unlimited crafting time! Finding big enough blocks of time to make significant progress on my projects (between work, travel, kid activities, etc.) is my biggest hurdle to crafting at this stage of life.

That’s a tough one… who doesn’t want unless yarn… but I think I need the unlimited crafting time… free from distractions and a lots of motivation .
Something like this would be wonderful. As much as I would like to have unlimited yarn, I think I would prefer unlimited crafting time. There’s just something so relaxing just sitting and crafting, and not having to think about the myriad things that need to be done in a day.
I would want unlimited crafting time only if it’s guaranteed that I won’t have any elbow or wrist pain. Unlimited yarn would be too overwhelming. I would be paralyzed by too many choices.

I would rather have unlimited crafting time. I don’t have enough knitting time. Besides, acquiring new yarns is part of my crafting/knitting enjoyment, so to already have unlimited yarn would somehow dampen my fun and pleasure of shopping for more. Or maybe it would just be my husband making me feel guilty about my yarn stash.

I rather have unlimited yarns,because I have bunch of free time…in certain months yarn is so expensive, I have to wait until Black Friday or any special occasion to buy a yarn… so yeah I prefer unlimited yarns.

It’s a really difficult choice, all that luscious yarn, unlimited, or all the time to “play” with it. However, since I have to choose, I’d take unlimited crafting time so I would be able to complete all the projects I have currently dancing in my head.

I think I’d prefer unlimited crafting time. Quite often, I have to stop a quick project multiple times. And I really only have a little time to craft a couple evenings a week. Imagine how much I’d get done!
Unlimited time. I already have so much yarn, crochet thread, fabric and related stuff that I had been collecting or gifted to use “when I had time” and am now receiving more as others pass away, that I am nearly overwhelmed by ‘choice’.

I would opt for unlimited crafting time. I have so much yarn and other crafting materials it’s shameful to admit. As a working sports mom it’s some times hard to find even 30 minutes.

I’m retired, so I have more unlimited time than before, but still so many things to do.Having unlimited yarn doesn’t help if you lack the time, so I guess, I’d go for time.
Oh wow. Hard choice. I guess I would choose unlimited time to craft because of the season of life I am in. The decompression time is much needed. I participate in more crafts than knit and crochet but never find enough uninterrupted time to get them out to work on. Don’t ask about the alpaca fleece hanging out in the basement closet smelling like a barnyard as it waits patiently to be washed and spun…
Unlimited crafting time! If I can’t get new yarn, I can always try to spin my own yarn, make tshirt yarn, or even overdye yarns I am no longer fond of in my personal stash. However, I would absolutely love to have some more blocks of time in my busy schedule to craft.

Beautiful shades in this month’s prize! Yarn or time, time or yarn, a difficult choice. I’m going to choose the unlimited time for crafting, though. Money can buy yarn but not time and I have other artistic pursuits as well.
Gotta be unlimited yarn for me. I already use fiber-arts to pass the time, but finances really get in the way! Especially seeing as I’m not someone who really spends… Any? Money on clothing, buying 300$ worth of yarn to make one sweater is a rare and daunting purchase ;_;
I would want unlimited crafting time. That would mean all these doctors appointments were past and I could relax and enjoy each day. Yarn can be bought and replaced, time cannot.
I want unlimited yarn hands down because I already have pretty much unlimited crafting time. My favorite pastime is crocheting/knitting while listening to audiobooks.
I would definitely want unlimited yarn. I believe I get as much pleasure in looking at and planning project ideas as I do out of crafting and gifting. I have yarn that’s almost too precious to use and it has to be the perfect project which I havnt found yet and I get hours of enjoyment searching for pattern ideas and browsing others projects on Ravelry or Pinterest or even the EFA pattern library which I visit weekly for more than just the Friday free pattern.
Unlimited crafting time would make the time I do have less special, but unlimited yarn equals unlimited joy

I am one of those folks who always has a knitting and/or crochet project that I’m working on, often more than one, as I keep smaller projects in a grab and go bag to work on when at meetings, or waiting at appointments, plus one by my living room chair to do while watching TV or listening to an audiobook.

Unlimited time! As a teenager I became so frustrated at all the craft projects I was working on and wondering how I would ever be able to finish them. My father said “You’re young, don’t worry, you’ll have time to finish everything.” Now, 12 years into retirement, there are still so many projects I want to do, in addition to learning new skills. Definitely, definitely need more time!

I think I’d say unlimited yarn. Funds are incredibly tight around here and it makes the yarn stash not be what I would wish it to be, and I can fit crafting (especially knitting) into most any activity through the day. Plus if I had unlimited crafting time, I fear I would never get any crafting done due to lack of structure lol so I’ll go yarn!

Absolutely unlimited yarn. I always purchase yarn for my stash and then when I find a pattern that interests me, I shop through my embarrassingly large stash! Also, I love just looking at yarn and feeling it on my fingers. I live in a rural area and don’t have access to any LYSs which means my stash has become my LYS.

I would definitely prefer unlimited crafting time. Not all the crafting I do is with yarn, and I already have yarn I don’t have time to craft with at the moment. But with time, I could use it to make money to buy more yarn, if I needed to.
Unlimited yarn sounds lovely, but I already have so much that I will never have the time to weave into lovely wearables or cozy blankets – so unlimited time would be my choice. Who couldn’t use more time to just sit and enjoy yarny things?
I’m a victim of soft and cozy yarn… I simply can’t resist! It’s like a little hug in fiber form.. Oh so precious!!!….

I’d choose time. What good is unlimited yarn if you don’t have enough time to really enjoy it?! Plus there are other crafting ventures that I enjoy that don’t involve yarn. With unlimited time I could more fully pursue all the things that inspire me.

I think I’d have to choose the unlimited yarn, as I am retired, and l have lots of free time for crafting. My mind is swooning over the idea of unlimited squishy yarn, and all the colors my hands would craft into garment goodness. Oh my, do I have to wake up now?

I am retired but my household is busy. I would choose the time, which means I would need a cook, a laundress, personal chef, a shopper (for groceries and unfun things like that), a gardener, a handiman, etc!

Chandi, as someone in the yarn business, seeing everyone posting the desire for unlimited yarn must be wonderful. Time is so precious. I am going to break from the crowd and say neither is a goal if not for unlimited friendship and community. That is what I would wish for. Without someone to share our beautiful yarns and crafts with, well, it just would not be the same. I wish for more yarny time with friends! So, I guess that is both. Share the passion and the love….
If I have unlimited yarn and the amount of time I have now, then I feel like the unlimited yarn would be wasted on me unless I could also give some away. Therefore, I would want unlimited crafting time.

Since I have a stash that will realistically last me the rest of my life, I would have to say ‘time’. That is my big bugaboo. And I’m not a fast knitter or crocheter, so ‘time’ would be so incredibly helpful. More time, please!!!!!

Nowadays, I would pick unlimited yarn. 
. If I was asked this before I had to retire early due to permanent disability, I think I would have answered differently! I worked full-time with many overtime hours and holidays working in the hospital – so I understand how hard it can be for many people to find some ‘free time’!! 
Unlimited crafting time would be my choice. Too many responsibilities some days to craft. But oh so relaxing when I have time.

Unlimited crafting time. At my age, and with the amount of yarn I have, I don’t need unlimited yarn. (I have 445 projects queued on Ravelry that have patterns and yarn purchased already, and while I’m working, I’m only getting about 15 projects done per year—despite knitting or crocheting virtually every day for at least two hours.)
Unlimited crafting time because, while I LOVE working with yarn, I have so many other hobbies and not enough personal time to get to everything.
Yarn! I have neuro issues that make sitting down and knitting/crocheting for long periods of time difficult. It’s not for everybody, but I always have a few minutes here or there that I can capitalize on for a couple of rows.

As much as I’m tempted to choose unlimited yarn because I have lots of opportunities/time to knit, I feel that there is something special about every skein/ball/hank of yarn that I purchase… I feel connected to it. I make plans for it. I choose it for a reason. Sometimes I go back and forth on whether I can afford it, or whether I can justify it, so I wait a few days or weeks or months before going for it. Ultimately, I savor every bit of yarn that I invest in. I review my yarn stash often, very often, always dreaming up new combinations or revisiting my Queue based on a new pattern that comes my way. So, I think that if I had unlimited access to yarn, it might take away that specialness that I feel for my yarn. Then again…. What a dream that would be to have unlimited access to yarn!!
I would like unlimited crafting time for all the projects that I save off or jump into my brain. With unlimited yarn I think I would feel sad I could not have the time to use it

Actually it is hard to answer that question. I am retired now and seem to make time for my crafting and knitting, and have a fair amount of fiber to select from, but still would like more time and I don’t think we ever have enough yarn or time. So which is worth more???? Don’t really know. Great looking yarns as always. Still got my fingers crossed, maybe one day????? Who knows.

I would probably say unlimited crafting time, as there aren’t enough hours in the day for me to craft my yarny projects and also work the hours I do. But if it was unlimited Expression Fiber Arts yarn, then I would definitely go for that option instead, hands down!! That would be a slice of heaven

It’s a difficult choice, but I think I’d go with unlimited time as long as it’s guilt-free time. I think that’s what trips me up so I don’t always make time if I feel like I *should* be doing something else.

I think I’d choose the unlimited crafting time. I don’t just use yarn. Yes, ai knot and crochet, but I also dabble in cross stitching and doing puzzles and making stitch markers. And I want to look at spinning at some point in the future. So the time would be better.
