Hello, my lil’ gingersnap! Today, I have a delightfully lovely, crocheted, asymmetrical triangle shawl to share with you. I think you’re going to love making this relaxing design. Keep reading to learn all about it!
Dandelion was designed by Susanna Biaye. When asked about this pattern, Susanna said, “Dandelion is an asymmetrical shawl that’s designed with a mixture of simple crochet stitches that you will not get bored crocheting. The beautiful puffs are intended to encourage you to perfect a new technique. They are rather relaxing and fun to make. The dandelion is a symbol of growth, hence the name.”
This is an Adventurous Beginner level pattern and is suitable for crocheters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches include single and double crochet stitches, half double crochet, and V-Puff stitches. This pattern includes written instructions only.
Dandelion is crocheted with our soothing Moongleam Fingering yarn, which is a soft and silky blend of 50% cotton and 50% mulberry silk. Just heavenly! It’s a 2-ply, fingering weight yarn that is glowing and buttery and perfect for a variety of projects. Shawls and scarves are fantastic, as are sweaters, blankets, home items, and more! Breathable and light and amazing for warmer climates with 437 yds/400 m per skein.
We used our stunning, luminescent Caribbean Moongleam Fingering to make the sample shown here, and it used four skeins or approximately 1700 yds/1554 m total.
We made a super fun video reviewing the more than 80 patterns that we released this year! Wowza! Join me to reminisce about all the fabulous knit and crochet designs that our amazing designers created for you!
