Hello, my lil’ sunflower! This week, I have a sweet, flowery crochet shawl pattern to share with you. It’s a stunning, eye-catching design that’s sure to turn heads! Keep reading to learn all of the details!

Field Flowers was designed by Wardah Mhd. She says, “I created Field Flowers as a statement shawl. This design is a perfect fit for an elegant bride walking across a flower field on an outstanding, Spring wedding day or is meant to add that extra bit of elegance to any special occasion outfit.”

Field Flowers is an Intermediate to Advanced level crochet pattern that is perfect for the adventurous crocheter who loves to tackle something a bit more complicated. Skills/concepts include working behind stitches in same direction, assembling, and beading.

The Field Flowers sample shown here was crocheted with our elegant and long-wearing Oasis Camel Silk Fingering yarn, which is an exotic, sultry blend of 50% camel fiber and 50% Mulberry silk for incredible softness and shimmer! When you want to treat yourself, this is the way to go! Wonderful for heirloom or wedding shawls, other wraps, scarves, sweaters, and so much more with 500 yds (457 m) per 3-ply skein.

The sample is shown in our Boda Hues Oasis Camel Silk Fingering Kit and used approximately 1592 yds/1456 m total: Color A: 706 yds/646 m, Color B: 404 yds/369 m, and Color C: 482 yds/441 m.

We made a video demonstrating how to make the beaded flowers featured in this shawl pattern. Take a look!

This pattern includes written instructions, a chart, and a photo tutorial for crocheting the flowers and leaves.
