Hello, my sweet friend! Today, I have a beautifully textured, knitted cowl pattern to share with you! I hope you’ll keep reading to learn all about it.
Intersection was designed by Amy Mercier. When asked about this design, Amy said, “An intersection is a point where two or more paths converge. We come across literal intersections on the road, but we also face other kinds of figurative intersections throughout our lives. We may stop at these crossroads and be faced with a decision. Which direction will you take? Using a combination of knits, purls, simple colorwork, and crossed stitches to create a wonderfully textured knitting experience, I designed this cowl with the intention to reflect those intersections in life. Remember, no matter which direction you take, you are always exactly where you are supposed to be.”This Adventurous Beginner level pattern is for those who have worked projects in the round and can read charts. This pattern introduces basic colorwork and a basic crossed cable stitch that does not require a cable needle.
Intersection was made with our Resilient Sock yarn. Resilient Sock is our signature sock yarn, and it is made from 100% Superwash Merino Wool. It’s a customer favorite because it’s both super soft and machine washable! 4-ply, which results in round, beautifully defined stitches and long-wearing finished projects. Boingy and elastic with a high twist. 400 yards/366 meters per skein.
The sample shown here was knitted with our Know Your Worth Hues Resilient Sock kit: A) Purple multi, B) Brown multi, C) Cream multi and used approximately 514 yds (470 m) total: A) 163 yds (149 m), B) 136 yds (124 m), and C) 214 yds (196 m).
The pattern contains written and charted instructions.
