Hi Chandi! I’m thankful for LIFE! And the beauty of family and friends. This time of year always makes me reflect on all the good in my life. As the trees change and turn colors,,,drop and fade, there is a hope that begins to stir as I know the bitter cold will soon begin, and then a new beginning…a time now to plan to do things better, forget the things that might not have gone one right. But live each day as it comes the best way possible and always find least one thing every day that brings a smile or laugh! Thank you for always bringing sunshine in every message you send!!

Hello. Chandi,
I am very grateful to God for giving me back my health. I had cancer, the last stage, in fact the doctors gave me, at the most, only 5 or 6 days to live. I was, indeed, very, very, bad. I had two sets of chemo, few years, plus some complementary treatments, and now, after 5 years, I feel much-much better. I still have to follow some light treatments, but it doesn*t matter
Many people have helped me throw this journey, a lot of prayers.
And, meanwhile, I discovered my passion for knitting and crocheting.
I love this set that you have prepared, as well the September one. That person that will get it will be a happy one.
Thank you for your kindness!

Thankful for my little family!
I am thankful for being able to help others. I crochet items to give away to the Cancer Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Society, and to the people who are affected with dementia who live in centres that take care of them… I crochet lap blankets and diverse items to put on their lap blanket such as little dolls, flowers, 🌸 anything that helps them to keep themselves occupied… these laptop blankets keep them warm and give them something to fiddle with since they tend to fidget a lot . It’s important to give these patients something to keep themselves busy. Also, for myself, it is important for me to keep my hands and mind busy. I have a pulmonary embolism and doing something with my hands and mind would also help me to stay busy to keep me from worrying about my situation. I am also very thankful for people like you who help others by giving them the tools (yarn) and in return they help people who need to be helped in return. I also like to donate crocheted articles to organizations that help children that suffer from autism and other disorders.. I would really be thankful to you for the good work that you do and I would very much appreciate winning the beautiful yarn that will help me to accomplish the work that I do to help others.

Recently I have had so much stress and so many losses in my life that I learned to make a conscious effort to be thankful even for most basic things which are so easy to take for granted. In addition to my family and home I am truly thankful that I can see, I can move, I can take care of myself, etc. And, I am very thankful that I know how to knit (and some crochet) and that I am able to get some beautiful EFA yarn and indulge in it.

Hi Chandi, I am thankful that my kids and grandkids are safe and healthy, and that I still enjoy knitting gifts for them…
I’m thankful for cooler temps, all the colors of fall, and being able to make home cozy, wherever “home” is. Two years ago we left our “first” home, where my roots were deeply established, and it was a rocky start settling in a new (even brand new) house. It was fall when we moved into that first home, and each year, fall was so sweet. It’s been a different kind of home now, but today, I know I can choose thankfulness and enjoy this beautiful new space, making new memories, and being all kinds of a new cozy! 🙂
I’m thankful for our life in our new town. We are away from any family members, but they are able to visit often, and we have made a lot new friends and are enjoying life in a smaller town.

Honestly., I think I died and went to heaven! Fall has always been my favorite time of year, and all these colors express the season beautifully. I can just picture myself burying my face in all that yummy yarny goodness, which is the first thing I’d do when that package lands at my door!
As far as November’s theme sentiment goes – I am thankful to have a decent home over my head, enough food to (over)eat, and to have a wonderful loving spouse who really takes good care of me. Sometimes it’s hard to be thankful for how blessed you are. I am always thankful for my family and that they are healthy and happy. My two girls are adults now and when they are having a hard time, I remind them to stop and think of all of their blessings, even the simple ones…food on the table and a hone. Thank you for reminding me to stop and be thankful

I am incredibly thankful for my family and any spare time I get to knit and crochet.
I’m thankful to finally be employed. Also because of my work I walk each day to and from equaling to over 3 miles a day. I had been praying to find time to get back to walking as I had been doing before caring for my Mom before she passed away. As a result of leaving early to walk to work I’m getting to see the moon in the sky and the sun rise over the mountains. I’ve been caught in two really bad storms and have loved every minute of it. Since I work at a thrift store I see many weird things that I never knew existed so each day is new and unique. I’m thankful for the friends who occasionally pick me up from work and help me run errands when I need the assistance of a car. I’m thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who answered my prayers. I’m thankful for finding this wonderful crafting community and this wonderful yarn company. I’m grateful for so many things that it’s very hard to list them all because I then think of ten more things. I’m thankful for pens and notebooks or journals so I can write them all down and have a record of all these things.
I am thankful for my husband, who is my soupsnake, and our amazing daughter!
I’m thankful for so many things! My wonderful family, my health and the ability to do my job where I am able to help children every day!
When I’m at my desk each morning, various songbirds sing such sweetness outside on the deck: wren, bluebirds, chickadees, even blue jays have delighted me with a sweet, soft chortling chitter when I’m out filling their feed trays :-). I am thankful that they welcome me into their world. You see, I am a flower farmer by day and knitter by night! Peonies and lavender, songbirds, bees, bunnies and deer are my “office”. Family and good fortune are always gifts to cherish but a deeper thankfulness is in doing-what-I-do-in nature and loving it!
The EFA inspiration in nature, the depths of color and feel of the different fibers really speaks to me. Thank YOU!
Thankful for my health!
Hello Chandi
I am thankful for my lovely boys, who have all grown up to be handsome and happy young men, and for my daughter-in-law, and for my parents who helped me and the boys in difficult times, and my sister who is always there for me; and for my wonderful soon-to-be-husband who enriches my life in so many ways (after two decades of being single).
Also, I am thankful for living in a place with neither war nor natural disasters occurring, not even the recent flooding because we’re just that bit elevated. And for my health, and that I can work (making money) and knit and dance on this autumnal Sunday.
This year has been bittersweet. I lost my closest grandmother a couple weeks ago, and I’ll be celebrating my 30th birthday on the 22nd of this month. Despite being heartbroken, I’m incredibly grateful to have made it to 30, especially surrounded by people like her who have always loved and supported me. Love you, nana.
Thankful for…..
Seasons. The changing colors outside reminds me that as individuals we grow and change. I cherish everyday that I have with family. I smile when around friends. I feel great warmth around my coworkers. And I hug being alive to see each day. Thank you God.
I’m thankful to be surrounded by nature’s beauty and to experience it with the 5 senses God gave to me.
The ability to sit and enjoy the chilly sunshiny morning before the day gets going!
I am thankful that I get to live the life I do with my wonderful husband and our 4 adult children. I’m also thankful that I have hobbies that I love and because of that I’m never bored. It is even more important as I’m older now and not as active or as able as I was before, but I can still use my hands to create wonderful things to make my life even more beautiful.

I’m grateful for my wonderful family. The time we get to spend together is precious.
At first I was going to say that I don’t really have much to be thankful for right now, but I realized that I have many things to be thankful for that we just take for granted and overlook. I have a roof over my head and food to eat (although not always the best or healthiest). Living in Houston Texas I am also very grateful for the cooler weather we have had. I am also thankful to you for the opportunity to have a chance to win your beautiful yarn.

Seeing them all come together to support each other as they grieved for a fallen friend was incredible. I’m thankful that God provided the perfect job to move me back to my home-town after 20 years away and after leaving a 17 year abusive marriage. I’m thankful that I’m in a position to help my elderly parents in their final years and that my father is in remission from the autoimmune disease that paralyzed and nearly killed him. That I have siblings to share the work. That I have an amazing son who is 180 degrees opposite of his father and he will make an amazing husband some day. And mostly, I’m thankful that despite not having the American Dream I’d always prayed for, I was blessed to live in a land of plenty with a loving family and enough to give us what we need in life. I have so much to be thankful for, I could go on and on. I believe that thankfulness is something is chosen and there is always something, even if it’s very tiny, to be thankful for.

I am grateful for the classmate in my university class who taught me how to knit. She and I have since parted ways, but I am thankful that I’ve been able to expand my knitting skills from the basics that she taught me. I’ve been able to knit beautiful shawls, scarfs, hats, and headbands as gifts for my loved ones because my classmate got me started!
I am thankful for my family and also for where I live that is safe. It’s so easy to take for granted being able to wake up in the morning without the fear of war or persecution. Let’s all send our prayers and/or extra love and light to those that need it!

I am thankful for EVERYTHING! Nothing that happens in my life is anything but a gift. All the good is a wonderful blessing, and all the seemingly bad is an equal blessing which offers me the exquisite opportunity to learn and grow and remember who I truly AM. Because, don’t we look back and realize that some of the worst moments of our lives have given us opportunities to grow and to get to who and where we are now? And if we aren’t where we want to be, we can learn from that experience. Each moment is a point of gratitude for SOMETHING, but we have to look for the gifts, the silver linings if we are not in gratitude. So I am grateful for it ALL!!!!!
I am thankful for LIFE: the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly and all the lessons each part of this life brings me.

I am thankful for being able to craft in my 80s. I can’t live a day without holding a hook or knitting needles in my hands.
I am thankful for so many reasons, including surviving cancer twice, seeing my children and grandchildren grow up to be kind and productive adults and wonderful grandparents and parents. Also, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to learn to knit, plus the pleasure of knitting with squishy, beautiful yarns. My life is full.
