What I’m thankful for is a very long list and gets longer everyday. I’m thankful for my Heavenly Father who has blessed me with wonderful friends who have compensated me for the lack of a relationship I have with my three younger sisters who chose to erase me from their lives not only before our mother passed away but directly after. My friends have stood by me even though they live on each side of the country from me. I am also thankful for the wonderful crafting groups I have found online. They inspire my creativity in so many ways and are uplifting and encouraging and always positive.
Love these colors. I am thankful for your wonderful give aways. Also thankful for my wonderful husband.
So thankful for my family!

I try to be thankful for every day, no matter what it held. Some days are harder to appreciate than others; often not because of what’s happening in my own life, but in the lives of friends or in the world in general. Those days are reminders to find ways to share my blessings.

Hi Chandi,
Those yarns are absolutely stunning!
This month I am thankful for having met my boyfriend and falling in love with him. We have been together for half a decade already and is the person who always makes me smile no matter what is going on in my life. He is also my most knit-worthy person, always complimenting my work, asking that I make him some stuff (especially socks) and showing them off to other people.
I am thankful for my health.
Thankful for health after a scare recently
I am thankful for my son, who loves and looks out for me. My knitting friends who are there for me, my work friends that are there on the frustrating days, but mostly I am thankful that at 73 I am still working, and loving it, that I have way too many knitting projects and can still knit everyday. Everyday that I can look at the green of the grass and not the roots is a good day.

Hi Chandi…I wish you a lovely day!
I am thankful that my Mom taught me how to knit and crochet when I was young. I live in Alberta, Canada. My garden keeps me very busy in the Summer ( I can’t touch wool in the Summer…my hands start to sweat ). I truly believe it’s Nature’s way of keeping me outside to enjoy our short Summer months. As soon as temperatures cool down, out come all my winter projects…all lined up… ;).

Hi Chandi! I am thankful for good health and family.
Hello Chandi
I am grateful for crochet which has given me a creative outlet in my retirement from teaching, and also for discovering Expression Fiber Arts just recently. I love your beautiful patterns and tutorials, and have just ordered my first yarn from you yesterday. I can’t wait to receive my order and make something beautiful with it. Lastly, I want to tell you that I love how positive and kind and lovely you are. You are a beautiful soul too! 🙂
I’m thankful for Hope and Friends that are there for you when you need them 🤗
Je participe I’m happy
Your yarn is so beautiful. I keep hoping to save enough to purchase some, although making up my mind would be nearly impossible. And thank you for free pattern Friday. I keep them saved on my wish list 🙂
I’m thankful for my family. They are so supportive and always have my back.
So thankful that I wake up every day and see the beauty all around me! Life is so short and uncertain. Every day is a gift!
Actually I count my blessings every day, starting with being alive to greet and having the chance to experience another day, the roof over my head, running water and every other thing most people seem to take for granted – my life hasn’t been easy but I still look for whatever is positive. It would take a lot of space to name everything I’m grateful and thankful for. Still/again being able to knit and crochet is just one of the things I am thankful for but it’s special because it lets me create beauty and gifts for others
Hi Chandi,
Beautiful yarns, as always. I’m really thankful for my health.
I am thankful for so many things that it is hard to list just a few. I try to express my gratitude every day for every jester that someone makes. That is why I am so thankful for your regular, uplifting email messages throughout the week.

I am thankful today that the medication I am taking is working to help my macular degeneration so that I can continue to knit with your beautiful yarns. Sue
I am SOoooo thankful to have my current health! I am chronically ill/permanently disabled; however, I haven’t had a true flare up in quite a while. Do I wish I had more energy, less pain, greater ability to socialize? Absolutely….but, I KNOW I am holding my own and that things could be much worse! I am preparing to move into a no maintenance independent living complex where I’ll have a ‘cottage’ with a large screened in porch. It is run with a Christian based mission, and the opportunity for continued spiritual growth always present. I look forward to sitting on my porch this coming winter and spring, enjoying the fresh air while I learn how to Tunisian crochet! 😊
Beautiful colors and the potential for so many different projects. Thank you for the opportunity to sign up.

I’m thankful I have the ability to put a smile on a stranger’s face, if only for a moment. And bubble tea. I’m thankful for bubble tea. I like bubble tea.

Such beautiful yarn. I’m so thankful that someone gave me a little plastic cylinder with 3 skeins of yarn and a curled up instruction booklet (I never did get it to lay flat) when I was 8 years old. The gift of the opportunity to teach myself to knit has given me a lifetime of enjoyment.
Thankful for a new job I like

I am grateful for the year that has been thus far! I realised not too long ago, that I was in fact living life fully: I am self-employed and doing what I love. Whilst I guess one could always earn more, I am so grateful to have time to be involved with various community projects in our city Cape Town, South Africa. Our country is constantly in turmoil, but somehow there are always amazing people that seem to defy the odds, do amazing things and make the world a better place. This may sound a little cliche’d, but is in fact true: I love being involved in things that make a difference to peoples’ lives.
I am so very thankful for my family and friends. They fill my life with so much love.
I am thankful for my family and all that they do for me and that is why I love knitting so I can make beautiful things for them to enjoy and cherish!
I am so thankful for having the ability to crochet. My family and friends love getting my crocheted gifts all year long. At my age I can’t afford fancy gifts, but I can whip up tons of fancy crocheted gifts.

I almost lost my nephew a couple Christmases ago and he finally got his Make a Wish this year. He has a brain tumor that can come back and doesn’t respond to chemo or radiation. He has to have it surgically removed. He is fine and doing well but we pray everyday for him. I am thankful to have my nephew alive and sharing his wit and joy with others. He is a truly special person. 💖 I am also thankful for everyone involved with Make A Wish. Make a Wish has gone out of their way to make my nephew feel like family until his Wish could be granted (covid delayed it). They even threw him a birthday party. The organization gives so much more than just one wish. They are truly special people and I’m thankful for them.
Hi Jennifer,
I’m so sorry to hear that about your nephew. I’m glad Make a Wish was able to grant his wish and make it so special for him. 💕
I’m thankful for being able to do my crafts and have family that loves me and my crafts!!!
I am thankful to be able to help the people in my life navigate the aging process, even when it is difficult and hectic.
I am thankful for so many things. The small things in life are what makes it wonderful and I give thanks as often as I can, trying to carry it into others hearts.
Currently I am very thankful for having survived being run over by a car. I still struggle in traffic but I am so thankful for my friends and family who take me by the hand to help me overcome the trauma.
I’m feeling thankful for my little girl who lights up our world every day.
I am thankful for just about everything. The hard times help me grow. The good times make me thrive. I’m an old fart, and am glad to have achieved that status. I am delighted and thankful that I have yarn for just about any/everything I want to make and yet, I can still enjoy and be grateful for MORE yarn!
Me too!
OMG. I love your thankful description. It’s one of the best. I wish you were a neighbor that I could visit for a chat
I am grateful for being able to wake up each morning and have my family/friends with me.
Hi Chandi!
I’m thankful for family, a craft that heals my soul, and a resilient heart.
I am thankful for a hubby who supports my fiber artist dreams.
I am so thankful for my family and friends. I am very thankful for you, you give us so many wonderful patterns, that are easy to follow, and are so beautiful, as are your yarns. I love your thoughts of encouragement. We are so blessed! You are such a wonderful soul.
These are my thoughts too. I love your positive outlook, Chandi, and all the gorgeous yarn you make. I would love, love, love to be the recipient of this lovely yarn!
the November colors are gorgeous!
The past few years have been a struggle. Lots of going without and barely getting by. I think it’s finally starting to turn around now and I’m finally feeling up to knitting and crocheting again. Feeling thankful for some breathing room. Winning this yarn would go great with the first holiday break I’ll be having in several years 😉
I’m thankful to live in a relatively prosperous time and place, to be retired with most of my health intact, to be able to get fine yarns and fiber to make things with!
I am thankful for God’s blessings everyday.
Hi! Chandi, I am grateful for you and your team. Your emails bring a smile to my face each time. Smiles are priceless! Keep up your inspiring work. It truly is a gift!
This is a somewhat belated thankfulness report, since I should have told him this some time ago, but I am incredibly grateful for my son, Dylan-Thomas. About 3 years ago he moved home to live with us. His dad is a T-10 paraplegic since November 2017 and I was going absolutely crazy with the stress of handling everything –full time job, medical issues for husband, household chores, plus the household chores that he used to do but can’t do any longer, and playing taxi cab for all his various medical appointments. l could not have gotten through the past couple years without Dylan’s help. It is a joy to see the troublesome teen who drove me insane has grown in to a responsible adult. He has faced his own challenges, but he is overcoming them day to day. I am so thankful for my Dyl.
Hi Chandi, thank you for the lovely giveaway! I am thankful for life in general. Experiencing life and love <3
I am thankful that my sister and I are both cancer survivors!
I’m thankful for my family!
Hello Chandi & EFA Team,
Same as many posters here, the list of what I am thankful for is long and grows every day. I am extremely thankful for my loving, supportive husband, the new home we purchased this year, and moving back to our home state for his new job and to be closer to family.
I am thankful for family and friends!
I’m thankful for a job that lets me help other people. I’m thankful I’m in my autumn years and have time to do the things I love. I’m thankful for the small everyday things that make my life easier, you know, running hot n cold water, a heater and air conditioner. I’m thankful for family, both bold and other, they have helped to make me who I am.
Oh, these are so much my colors! I am thankful for many things – including that I am healthy enough to do the things I love. And that the job I don’t really love has been stable through COVID, has become an entirely remote job – giving me more time at home with my cats and saving me 2.5 hours of commuting a day and that it pays enough to cover my bills.
I’m thankful for my family, they support me every day with my illness with the physical and mental health issues that it causes, without them I’d be lost! I’m also thankful for the wonderful group that is the EFA family, the people who work there to create the beautiful yarns and patterns and the people in the Facebook group who provide great support and advice to each other.
I am thankful for moments of peace. On this chaotic, round the clock planet, I appreciate the instances when something of beautiful simplicity or wonder stops the racing mind in its tracks, and the world can fall away. An exquisite late-summer flower, a gentle first snow, a meal that tastes like home, a heartfelt laugh, a genuine smile…
I am thankful for my husband who is always there for me, no matter what. I couldn’t be where I am without him. Such great colours in your giveaway – love how generous you are with your monthly giveaway!
I am thankful for so many things! My loving husband, my energetic son, my parents and siblings, my health and, of course, my yarn craft supplies! 😊
I’m thankful for life. The good, the bad and the ugly, they all contribute to the person I am.
I am thankful for my husband and children and grandchildren. Also thankful for my love of knitting and other crafts.
I am so thankful for all the good things in my life, not the least of which is the art of knitting. What a joy it is to begin a new project with gorgeous yarn and a lovely pattern!
I’m thankful for this wonderful maker community that is always so encouraging and welcoming to other makers.
I am thankful for my 4 children! Love my 22 yr old down to my 6 yr old! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am thankful for my family !
I’m thankful for being retired and now having LOTS of time for my knitting. Now I can go to yarn festivals and shop online and find lots of interesting patterns. Not least of all, I’m thankful for a VERY understanding husband who appreciates all I make.
I am thankful for my life in general : my hubby, my two lovely cats, a warm home, a decent job, a good health (at least I think so LOL), etc.

I am thankful for my good health, family and friends. Thank you for the chance of winning your beautiful yarn.
I am thankful for Jesus, my family and my friends! I have been truly blessed!
I’m working on a list on my facebook page: so currently I have the fact that after 2 years, my bathroom is back in order, no more leaking into the living room so now I can put that back together, too. And for 37+ years of marriage, knowing that with God at the center, we can weather every storm!
I am thankful for each brand new day of life. My children, my grandchildren, my family and friends. Each day is a challenge to do better, be better.
Each challenge is an opportunity for growth and love.
I’m thankful for having stable job, caring husband, roof over our head, and food on our table. It doesn’t sound like much but it’s what gets me through every day

I’m thankful for my family and especially the time I had with my mother. ❤️
A good time to give thanks, now and always. I’m especially grateful to the medical personnel who brought my husband back after his heart stopped, and the surgeon who removed the obstructions. And now, over 2 years later, we are still enjoying every moment we can together. I’m grateful for the big garden we continue to build together, and the abundance we gather from it some years. Even in lesser years, we have the beauty of it to sustain us, and others around us. I’m grateful for the kind hearts that are about in the world, sowing happiness and sharing their own abundances with the rest of us. I’m thankful for the moments I get to be creative, be that with yarn, paints & artistic media, or my words — and for every generous opportunity that comes about to continue to create. Thank you, Chandi.
I am thankful for my large, chaotic family, and for crochet and knitting to relax with when the day’s work is done.
I am grateful most to God for helping me through one of the hardest times of my life. He is taking a burden off my shoulders I didn’t even know I carried. I am grateful for the lightness I am beginning to feel as we peel away painful layers. I am blessed beyond measure.

I’m thankful for my Lord And Savior most of all, and then for my husband that has been by my side for 60 years!! He’s a brave man… lol. We were blessed to be able to travel full time for 15 years in a travel trailer until he developed Parkinson’s and we had to settle down in a retirement community! We’re thankful for this place that definitely meets our needs! In fact we have a knitting/crochet group that I love. We meet once a week. This fall we are making prayer shawls for some of the residents in the Assisted Living unit. God is good!
I am thankful for everything I having been learning this year and for all my family and friends.

I am thankful for my sons, their wives and my beautiful healthy grandchildren who make me feel special and loved. I am especially thankful for all the different varieties and types of yarn I had no idea existed and all the talented people that teach me different ways to use it all.

I’m thankful for today. I’ve been working on being present in this moment, one moment at a time. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in what happened yesterday or last week and all the possibilities of tomorrow and beyond and I find that I oftentimes lose sight of right now.
I am thankful for so much, but am very thankful for the opportunity to knit and spin which provide so much enjoyment and balance in life!
So many things to be thankful for, but to call out just one: I am thankful for people in my life who take the time to try to actually SEE ME. Not the image of me they’ve created in their mind, not the reflection of themselves they see in me, but me. People who skip the small talk and go in deep.
Hi Chandi, gorgeous skeins as usual.
I am thankful for everything in my life, my three children, my husband, the warmth in my home and the food on my plate.
Your question is a very important one, as I am a citizen of UK, and we currently going through a recession. Many people here are having to choose between heating their homes or putting food on the table this winter. In times like these, I feel that it’s important for me to be thankful for what I have as so many people are not able to afford the same.
What a beautiful group of yarns!!! And it is my birthday this month so what a treat for me to win! I am grateful everyday for the companionship of my dog . He also adds his fur to anything I am knitting!

Grateful and blessed that I’ll be sharing the holiday season not only with our sweet perfect 2 year old grandson (born at 27 weeks and spent first 2 months in NICU), my 86 year old Mom, son & daughter-in-law who (thanks to Covid’s work from home) were able to move 800 miles and now live 10 minutes away and my husband who was diagnosed almost 9 years ago with an extremely rare and very very aggressive (95% die in first 6 months, of remaining 99% die within first year) and although undergoing daily & monthly chemo treatments, is doing well. He’s not only considered a miracle by the medical community, but is considered our very own miracle. I have so much for which to be thankful!

I don’t enter every month but wow! these colors are gorgeous. I am grateful that even with multiple chronic illnesses I am still able knit and crochet. I take great joy in knowing that those who receive the items I make are warm and cozy and have a small piece of me with them. I am grateful for the love and support of family and friends who make it easier to navigate the rough waters of illnesses. Happy Holidays to everyone!
I am thankful for life, family and friends. I celebrated my birthday yesterday (28th November) and it has been a year thereabouts that I found EFA. Thank you and your team for helping me rediscover one of my hidden gifts.😊🧶🪡🧵
Happy Birthday, StacyAnn! 🥳
Hi Staci, I am thankful for my family and all they give me with my car and with moving things. Since I am 75 it’s hard to do things I used to be able to do easily sometimes, so my daughter is a big help. My son lives across the country and I miss him a lot.
I love your beautiful yarn and all the patterns/tutorials you offer us. Thank you very much for those!
I am grateful for a body that allows me to show up and craft every day. There are many people who would love to be able to hold needles, have the vision to do embroidery, or treadle a spinning wheel. It is truly a blessing to be able to partake in these tasks.
