You can grab the pattern here and the yarn here. We used 2 skeins of Champagne, 1 skein Once Upon a Time, 1 skein Powder Rose, 1 skein Stone But choose any fingering weight yarn you love and whatever colors light your heart up.

I was using a Fair Isle pattern in a cowl and figured out how to carry yarn with both hands. However, I had one row with a long float (7 stitches) and tried to invent a way to pick up the float without having to twist the balls of yarn around. It wasn’t very elegant, but it worked. Could you create a video on how to do this? I may or may not have done it correctly.
Marlea, great idea! We can add that to our list !
I knit continental too, and would love to see fair isle technique with both colors in left hand. Nice and slow technique of doing the float catch, how often and if it is true of one color dominance planning. – The catching of yarn or as I refer to it as over, under to grandmothers house we go…oh wait that is a Christmas verse. Well right now the verse is as close as I understand how to do fair isle doing only continental.
Love your style, videos, patterns and so glad found you as a newly adventurous willing to to try knitter.
