Hey, beautiful soul! Thanks for stopping by today! OHHH. Who’s excited?! Me me me and hopefully you too.
This pattern is designed to be a fun, creative expression! Please don’t stress about exact colors or yarn weights – just choose any yarn you love, a needle size that feels comfortable with it and knit away, changing colors as you desire.
•I chose to use 5 different colors of Expression Fiber Arts Alpaca Silk Dk yarn – it’s drapey, buttery soft and puddly. 230 yards each. The shawl ended up being about 450 grams, 1035 yards total.
•I am such a fan of patterns that are simple to work but produce a stunning result. This is a fantastic design for knit night or travel knitting. You’ll feel quite meditative and tranquil when working this wrap. I called it “Worth” because I want you to remember how worthy you are of a beautiful life. You aren’t meant to struggle. You aren’t meant to feel terrible about yourself or your life. You hold the reins to your life. You are the creative force that calls into place the pieces of your life. As you work this wrap, allow your mind to clear and let ideas flow to you. Write them down as they come! Then begin to dwell on those new creative ideas, speak about them and start taking action. Your thoughts/words/deeds create your life. And you are worthy of a beautiful life.
•You can knit this pattern as-is if you love the wrap look, or cast on half the number of stitches and you’ll make a scarf. Or, cast on twice the number of stitches and work fewer rows and you’ll have a precious knitted baby blanket!

Family time.💕
I am a 35 year quilter, therefore, my e mail name, but my son purchased an alpaca farm 8 years ago and the rest is history. A Ladybug spinning wheel, spinning classes and knitting classes. I just found you and I have never seen such amazing color combinations in my 70 years of life. It blows my mind what you come up with. They are glorious. Colors and patterns are what have drawn me to quilting. Now, I am in double trouble, my poor hubby, because of spinning and knitting. There is beauty everywhere if we but look are undo and you seem to really see it and capture it. Thanks for getting me in more trouble. Sharon
Can’t wait for the crochet version!
Such a versatile pattern
Thank you for the free patterns. Kinda excited for Christmas Day when I can start a project for me! 🙂
Comment one thing I’m excited about for the holidays… I just bought and moved into my first home! It’s beautiful and I now have my own craft room for all my knitting, sewing, cross-stitching and crochet!! This will be our first Christmas in our new home.
Thank you Chandi for this gorgeous knit shawl pattern. I am a beginner knitter with a vision deficit. I totally think I can handle this simple pattern. I have difficulty finding patterns that are super simple but oh so lovely. I love listening to your so sweet soothing voice as you give great explanations! I can’t wait to start this beauty!
Thanks for teaching me the linen stitch. I’ve lived no admired it and now I can try it myself!
Oops! That should have said: I’ve long admired the linen stitch!
I can’t wait to make this! You explain the method so clearly! Thank you!
I love this pattern! I wanted to try the Dewy DK yarn, but I could only afford 2 skeins at this time. So I am making this with my two skeins and plan to add on as I can afford more yarn!. Thank you for such an easy pattern.
