This wrap is sooooo gorg! I can’t get over it.
•First of all, the color. Whoa. This is my Red Velvet Rose Pearlescent Worsted yarn. Other colors here.
It’s shimmering and rich and fantabulously luscious. I want to eat it up and wrap it around my whole body. You can download it here.
•Secondly, the pattern is delish because it’s elegant, yet wearable. I mean… wear it to a fancy schmancy din din with your hot hubby or boyfriend or girlfriends, or just wrap it around your shoulders while you sip hot tea and read a good book on your couch. I promise you’ll feel very elegant indeed.
It’s fun to crochet because the pattern changes (4 different sections total, and then the edging) so you can’t really get bored. Hopefully you won’t anyways!
And heck, you can even adjust the sizing if you like. Make it smaller or longer. Or if you run out of yarn, it’s not the end of the world. You can finish off at just about any row and it’ll still be awesome.
I really hope you love it. I enjoyed designing and crocheting it for you. I’ll be giving this to my mom for Mother’s Day. Don’t worry, she already knows! (Hi, Mom!)
You’ll Need:
-5 skeins (220 yards each) worsted weight yarn
-Size US H (5.0 mm) hook
-Knowledge of: single, double, double triple and triple crochets, as well as chains and slip stitches
-LOVE, because you simply can’t make this radiant beauty without lots of love!
From the Reviews tab on our site:
-“Such a beautiful design with lots of gorgeous texture to make it a delight to crochet and wear.”
-“Yarn is amazing and easy to follow directions. My husband wants me to sell it ( He was blown away with this design) but I am keeping it. Too awesome to sell.”
-“Once again Chandi, you have undone yourself! This pattern is beautiful and I have enjoyed watching it develop on your facebook and insta feeds! I can’t wait to get it on my hook. The pattern reads well and is really easy to understand and follow. Plus I know you are always happy to answer questions. Thanks again.”
Enjoy, you luscious fellow crocheter you!

This is such a beautiful shade of red, I cant wait to see it in person.
The color of this exquisite yarn, combined with this beautiful pattern, have teamed up to make this shawl be Luscious!!!!!
Obsessed with this yarn!! ❤️ What other patterns do you have using it?
gorgeous
Olá! Amei, muito lindo!
This shawl is beautiful. What are the measurements? Do you offer a graph with the written instructions?
The size is 18.5” wide, 49” long at the initial chain, 95” along the final picots. We don’t have a graph with the written instructions, but we will have a video tutorial on one of the sections of the pattern.
Hi there
What do you mean by turn turn in the 1st row if the 2nd section
Anna, oh I just mean to turn!
Thanks for your response. Love your work.
What do you mean by “49” long at initial chain, 95” along the picot”. Doesn’t the length remain the same? I would think it is the width that changes, but I am just beginning to crochet and probably misinterpreting. Could you clarify, please. Thank you! 🙂
Great question! It does increase as you go along!
I’ve this one, per your instructions… It’s the most beautiful thing! Love It. Thank you so much
Thank you! 😍

Can I get it in German

Hola. I love to crochet. It’s been my passion since I got sick. I do not sell my creations. I mostly donations to different charity organizations. I made this one in red with a #4 yarn as a gift for my sister-in-law. I loved it so much that I had to make one for myself. I made it with #3 yarn. Love how flowy it is. You are a super teacher. Your voice is so soothing and calming. Your tutorials are easy to follow. Too bad, I do not know how to knit. These past couple of months I have been crocheting rectangular shawls.
Thank you for your videos. God bless you, your husband, and your business.
Hi Chandi, I just competed the Red Rose shawl and love it. I am stumped about the way mine finished. I thought it would have a straight edge all the way down, but when I worked section 4, row 2, it created an extension that almost looks a thumb on each side.
Is that correct? I can send a photo if you’d like.
With a smile!
Jan
Hmmm, I’m not sure, but it sounds a little different than what the final shawl would look like. For one-on-one pattern help like this, please message us at https://www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/
Thanks!
I just got this yarn and this color in this past week. I plan to make this shawl. I can not tell you how much more beautiful in person this is!! Pictures do not do it justice. The shine and luster is so much more!! I’m in love and so excited to start this.
Absolutely stunning 😍.
