Oh, my!! These might be my favorite giveaway colors so far!
I’m still able to work so my crochet and knitting pace is the same. Some highlights of working at home are the amount of natural light, the dog at my feet, and the joy of new yarn at the door mid-way through the day.
Oh my goodness! This months giveaway has to be my dream give away!!! All absolutely gorgeous shades of blues and grays…my favorites! What an artist! I would so love to receive this beautiful and generous collection of yarns! Currently I am knitting your Textured Laguna as well as a market bag & looking forward to when we can all get out and about again.
Your yarn and patterns are so beautiful. I currently am knitting a shawl – light for spring/summer. Thanks for the contest.
This selection of yarn is so beautiful, my favourite colour. I’ve finished a handsewn flower garden quilt top and today finished a baby afghan for a friend expecting a rainbow baby in August. Just started the Adeline shawl and am basting more flower garden quilt pieces for another quilt this time all in shades of blues.
Thanks somuch for the give aways 🥰. The colors are beautiful. You ate so generous.
I haven’t met a yarn I haven’t loved 😍
Your yarn is always a joy to receive and knit with. I love the collection of blues in this giveaway, so calming and inspiring ❤️
I recently ordered and received (quick service) some buttery beautiful “Blossom” yarn, so soft and shimmery!
Thank you for the educational and enjoyable videos you provide as well as the patterns you offer to help us create beautiful projects with just the right yarn. You especially help me use the yarn to benefit from my purchase instead of just stashing it 👏 (although that is not a bad thing because your yarn is a work of art!)
I wanted to post a picture of my recent project that I finished using your Alpaca Silk DK – SO SOFT!!! – but I could not figure out how to do that.
Thank you again for using your gift to add beauty to our lives ❤️
Dear Chandi,
Your emails are a breath of fresh air and have brought me such comfort. Last Nov. I had a bad asthma attack due to a virus and spent 4 days in the hospital. In Early Dec.last year I came down with Bell’s Palsy which is a viral infection. About a week later I woke up and the bottom of my feet or hands were numb, tingling and burning in pain. I was not able to write, crochet, knit, or walk. Don’t worry there is sunshine here! I am in the process of being diagnosed with Guillain Burre Syndrome. GBS which is an autoimmune disease that destroys the peripheral nerves.
In the meantime 😄 I have gotten some use of my hands and feet. I tried knitting the other day and I was so excited that I could knit for 15mins. It has been such an amazing experience to know that if you lose something and it comes back, it was meant to be!! So I have been drooling over all the beautiful new yarns from your emails and cannot wait to pick a new project.
Your resilience is admirable. ❤️❤️
The yarns in these give aways are always so beautiful. I haven’t won yet, but maybe soon.
Because of everything going on recently, I started learning how to do bobbin lace. Its a bit time consuming lol
Oh wow!! Blue is my favorite color.. 💙💙 I have been crocheting a whole lot lately with everything happening around the world. Crochet is my go to when I am stressed. My birthday was almost 2 weeks ago and my handsome hubby gifted me a lot of yarn to be happy and chase the stress away.. So I am busy crocheting a beautiful wrap/big scarf for myself. Stay healthy and stay safe. Much live from The Netherlands 😘
Oh my oh my such beautiful blues. I would so dearly love to win these. I can imagine a new blue sweater for me and my daughter in these colors. And with this awful virus and the even worse lockdown, making them might actually save my sanity.
I’ve finished a baby blanket and started another. And started a new sock. That yarn is gorgeous. Thanks for the pretty things to look at and the positive vibes.
I dont have extra projects that I have been working on but I am going to set up my loom and learn to weave. I am super excited!!
That is so much fun!
These are lovely!
Blue like the sea and sky really lovely.
Now that summer is approaching . Keep safe
Blue is my color, and these are some of the most gorgeous blues ever. And purples. Just yummy. I’ve been impatiently waiting for a needlepoint canvas to arrive. but it would take second place to these amazing yarns. Thanks so much for this giveaway. Stay safe.
Oh my… Cobalt is my absolute fave 💙
I’ve reorganized my stash, frogged a project that wasn’t working, started a new project, and picked colors for the next project after the new one…. other than reorganizing, nothing’s really changed. 😊
Finished 1 pair of socks and started 2 more.
Haven’t had the mental acuity to learn Brioche yet so my beautiful Oasis fingering is still awaiting cast on. At least I can fondle its loveliness. 😁
Beautiful colour’s.
I would be crocheting up a storm if it weren’t for the fact that I just moved into a new house. Once I am unpacked you won’t be able to stop me
What beautiful colors. I’ve been busy learning how to teach virtually while still knitting Christmas Stockings for my customers. I am getting ready to make cumulus for myself.
Beautiful colors, beautiful yarn. It’s good to focus on the things that makes us feel happy!
We are working home-office and we have a 3,5 year old son… So, no extra time for any hobbies. But nowdays we spend a lot of time in the garden, the weather is beautiful 🙂
I’ve been TRYING to get more yarn time in right now, but me and hubby are both still working and now homeschooling on top of that. I did manage to learn the virus stitch though 🙂
I have been working on my peacock shawl. It is coming along. I’m about halfway done.
I have been doing more knitting, and I have stocked up my to do pile. I like to support my favorite yarn stores. 🙂
Beautiful! My favorite colors!!! I can just see the projects!!
Absolutely beautiful and in my favorite colors
I have been randomly knitting socks and dish cloths, but my big project is the galene shawl in one of your color ways. It is turning out beautifully!
The way I see it… even if I win 1 skein of any of your beautiful colors you show I will be blessed!! Thank you for all your free patterns n your monthly give aways!!
I have been doing some extra crochet. I am attempting a crochet along that is slow goingg but kind of fun with new techniques. I do need to stop and whip up a sheep for my mom for easter though.
Wow 🤩 this yarn giveaway is just my speed!
I’ve been crocheting for a friend and making masks for my family/friends. I like when my crafting feels productive. Thanks for all the cheer you bring in my email Chandi & Tim!
Gorgeous yarn!!
I’m finishing up a fair-isle vest for my 2-yr-old granddaughter who is in shelter-at-home in California. The vest has a “mate” — same design, different colors, slightly larger, for her 3-yr-old brother. I wish I could be going there to personally give them, but I guess this will be the next best thing to being there? Love your yarns!
Making the champagne cowl for my mom and sisters for Mother’s Day. Very excited. I think they will love it.
I’m stretching my knitting legs and designing a neck warmer.
It’s the first time I’ve designed something.
Yay!
I knitted the Mills shawl pattern and love it!
I am so so very happy for the beautiful people and the beautiful day we have had. I am trying to knit socks two at a time. On magic loop I am having some trouble with it. So if you have any easy patterns please let me know. I thank you for your awesome video and your caring to teach. Thank you
Catherine
Absolutely! Here is a link to some possibilities: https://www.expressionfiberarts.com/categories/patterns.html?_bc_fsnf=1&Craft=Knit&Free%2FPaid=Free
Oh my what gorgeous colors. Blue has always been my favorite color. I’m continuing to work on gifts I’ve been working on. I also pulled out some I had to set aside. Hoping to finish them soon & then start on Christmas gifts.
So pretty!
Feeling very lucky at home in the woods.
Able to work on projects that I didn’t get done over winter and start some new ones! On the “Yarning” front: updating my yarn inventory complete with pictures. Completing some sweaters! And also on a new track: starting a mosaic crochet blanket/bedspread.
Stay safe!
Crazy times mean I need my needles and yarn to keep me sane! Working on a stuffed toy for a friend and plan to knit a baby sweater for a niece due this summer. #stayhome
Knitting has been keeping me sane during these hectic times! My family spends a lot of time outdoors but our city was one of the first to go on lockdown (which included closing all public trails and beaches). Although our yard isn’t very big, there is enough space for a tent. To compensate for missing our daily park visits, we set up our tent in the backyard and took our two year old camping for the first time. She loved it so much that she hasn’t wanted to come back inside. We’ve pretty much been living out there for the past week now. There’s nothing better than falling asleep to the sounds of owls and waking up to the birds. We now jokingly refer to it as our summerhome. It has definitely been a lifesaver!
What a great idea!
I’ve got lots of extra time right now since my position wasn’t necessary with everything shut down, so I’m on temporary layoff. With the beautiful spring weather I’ve been outside just sitting in my yard, watching my daughter play and introducing my baby boy to all the wonderful things to see in nature! And of course, I’ve been crocheting, a lot. So glad I splurged on a bunch of high- end yarn last year, I have 5 or 6 projects I can keep my hands busy with! I just finished the Beleu sweater with the oasis yarn. Ooooo, its such a squishy comfy yarn to wear!
I love the all range of blues in this collection of yarn!
I am working through some of my stash and finishing projects that have been in the closet for a while. Today I am finishing a coat for my granddaughter’s doll and working on a coordinating scarf from scrap yarn. It will be so fun to give Ada the doll clothes when I can visit her again. Meanwhile, when not knitting, we are taking walks and watching birds. I’ve seen several that I either had never seen before or hadn’t seen for several years.
I just finished a sweater with some of your gorgeous North DK yarn in the color way Anchorage. I love how it turned out and I love your yarn!!!
Oh my 😍😍😍these color way are gorgeous, just finish my shawls and starting new one at the moment
All of the yarn in this giveaway is gorgeous. All that blue!!!
I keep hoping!!! I gave my daughter a sweater quantity of your yarn for Christmas.
Beautiful yarn always!
Hey I received a voucher and it’s a 15% off one, was that meant to be the same one that came with this giveaway (it was marked as $10)?
Those are different vouchers. You can use both of them. Only one can be used at a time. ❤️
I just love this yarn! I am a beginner and I literally watch all your videos and follow you. You truly helped me to get started and love having a new skill.
I’ve been literally going through my stash of yarn like crazy. I’ve completed a lot of wild and tried a lot of new things too. One thing I’m doing besides crafting is attending some virtual things over Zoom. It’s been really nice. I almost feel busier than when I could go wherever!
That’s wonderful!
Thank you for this opportunity! I mostly knit garments and love that you give away garment-quantity amounts. I never know what to do with solo skeins. Seriously so generous of you 💙 also loving the blues and greys!
Thank you for the chance to win – your yarns are so inspirational!
Beautiful colours. Thank you for the contests each month. I hope everyone is staying safe!
Love your yarn!
I am working on a prayer shawl for a friend fighting cancer but I’m having trouble mentally continuing past a few rows each day. I’m using some of your hand dyed Christmas yarn because she celebrates the season all year.
I’m so sorry. Sending you love ❤️
I’m almost 88 (apr. 8) and love both knitting and crocheting. Your yarn looks gorgeous!
I’ve been knitting A LOT! Since the school has closed in the middle of March, I started and finished a pair of socks for my oldest and about to bind off my sweater. I started on a blanket for my youngest. But knowing blanket can take a long time to complete my youngest has also requested a sweater. So maybe I’ll cast that on too. So I said “Why not! We’ve got time :)” That big smile on her face hearing that response was so prescious ❤️
Mask, masks and more masks. Who knew the response would be so great.
I’m definitely catching up on knitting and by coincidence, my current projects are all using EFA yarns!!! My current 2 projects are using pearlescent fingering yarn in the October Opal colorway and the December Tanzanite colorway!!!
Your yarns are all so heavenly! I finished up some unfinished projects including a sweater for myself & 2 frilly little shrugs for my young granddaughters. Been busy knitting baby blankets for my newest granddaughter due in September. and now on her little sweater & bonnet 🙂
I have become spoiled by your yarns! The beautiful subtle shades make exquisite shawls. I finished an Adeline shawl and am working on another one in yarn I had in my stash. I am also finishing a blanket that has languished for a year or more and will start a wreath project soon. I am also catching up on some shows that are heart-warming. The one I am watching now is called Heartland. No news! Just lovely stories, funny videos and maybe the weather at this time on tv. Thanks for your warm, inspirational messages, Chandi!
Beautiful yarns 😍
I’ve only just finished placement so no extra knitting time for me but it’s about to start – that is unless I get called onto work in the hospitals as a cadet or as a non current nurse/midwife.These colours are so beautiful, they make me feel calm just looking at them.
Hi Chandi,
Your vision of color is so beautiful. I find your connection with nature and how you interpret their palette is amazing. I look at your colors and they make me feel so calm. The assorted blues are just fabulous. They are so soothing and calming.
I wish you continued success. Can’t wait to see your next color palette.
Blue is my favorite color of yarn. I am making a jacket for my daughter who wonderful in blue because it brings her blue eyes out. So far I have completed 4 projects which I started about a year ago. My art room is getting cleaned out. LOL
OH WOW!!! I just want to dive into this pile of yarn – just my colours.
I have used your beginner tutorials to teach myself to knit during this shutdown. And sewing face masks
Another wonderful display of colours Chandi. TY
I’ve been working on a purple and blue shawl. I haven’t done much knitting or crocheting recently, so it’s nice to get back into it. Though my cats are obsessed about eating the yarn.
Thank you! What a beautiful color selection for a most luxurious give away stash of yarns! I would be so pleased to win this! Keeping my fingers crossed, counting my lucky stars and saying a little prayer!
Chandi, I live your work!
I’ve been learning how to spin, thanks to a generous friend letting me borrow her wheel!
What a beautiful giveaway, I’m in love with this month’s deep blue hues. ❤️
wow a classic and beautiful color, I think we all have at least one garment of this color, I finished a blouse for my mom, now I want to knit something for my sister, in these times it is good to balance and think more is to give to others something of us and much more made with love. Thank you for your yarns, they always have a trace of how wonderful it is inside you.
I was waiting for my yarn to start the latest shawl pattern you released. Last Wednesday I had to go out and during the process I fell and broke both bones in my left wrist. So it looks like I won’t be crafting much of anything for awhile. The colors in this giveaway are amazing.
I’m so sorry. I hope you heal quickly! ❤️
Your yarn is just gorgeous! Thanks for your giveaways, tutorials, and you! I always feel like I have been hugged when I watch you!❤
I so love, love, looooove your. Yarns! (Even though I have not bought it b4) It look so beautiful on your projects, the flow, the colours n u can actually feel the yarn from looking at it. I wish to be able to buy it one day.
Such pretty colors! Blues make me think of SUMMER… blue skies mostly! Blue Flowers…..Blue Birds
I’ve been knitting and crocheting up a storm. No real plan, just making whatever the mood wants! Shawls, grocery totes, project bags… Some are being made from yarn in stash, others (shawls) from super nice yarns (EFA – wink wink – Such soft, yummy yarns !! ) Some larger projects I want to make: sweater type things, swonchos, cape/poncho things….Me thinks I have wayyyy too many ideas!! But that is a good thing!!
Your colors are ripples of serenity. I am anxiously waiting on my Coastal Hues for the Find Your Path shawl. Can you guess I love the ocean and her beautiful hues? Never made a shawl before and may be a challenge. Started knitting 2 years ago and have only made socks, hat and a scarf. Small items – but excited. so so excited and a bit scared but mainly excited. Any tips on what to buy for blocking? So glad I found you a couple of weeks ago. I have only used box store yarns so I decided I needed to do something special for myself.
Love your videos – so fun. Thank you
I love these blues!! I am not getting any additional crafting in – as a medical assistant I am considered an essential worker, and still heading to work every day. I feel very lucky that I can. Something that makes me smile is the flowers that are blooming! Spring has sprung and the colors are emerging. Yay!
I have really enjoyed watching your YouTube videos. I’m a crocheter trying to learn how to knit. Your knitting tutorials have really helped me, thank you.
I am currently working on two knitting projects, a sweater and a cardigan/light jacket kind of a thing, and I hope to be done with both by the end of this month cause I want to start working on a big shawl and I can’t even look at the patterns cause I will just toss both of my projects to the side to work on the shawl, they are my favorite thing to make 😍
Without fail my dogs can make me smile every time! I’ve been knitting a blanket and getting all the snuggles I can while I’m home! It’s been nice to spend more time with them and my husband.
I am doing a little charity knitting. I have made several baby sweaters and have just finished a beautiful baby dress in a mint green.
Simply beautiful!
Your yarn is so gorgeous! I am just about to cast on the featherweight cardigan with your seacoast fingering in sea salt blue. Should be perfect to throw on when it gets a little breezy in the PNW.
I am a full-time student in addition to being a teachers assistant and bus driver. I also have 5 kids. To say that time is an issue when it comes to crafting normally is an understatement. Now that we are being forced to slow down, I have been able to start knitting again and I forgot how happy it makes me and how relaxing it is.
Thanks for the giveaway, I just ordered some of your yarn for the first time and I definitely would love to win more!
I love these colors. I actually started learning how to knit 2 yrs ago from your youtube channel.
I actually haven’t been doing any extra knitting because I still have school that needs to be done. Something that makes me smile is you! I love your videos and emails, and you are so inspiring!
Since I can’t go anywhere else at the moment, I’m trying to finish up my big projects. Two blankets down three to go, and that’s just the I can’t travel with them projects. Also I love your love and lace blanket shawl. It keeps me cozy when the temperature drops at night.
I am knitting about the same amount now as before the social distancing.. As it always does the sunshine upon my face and lighting up my room after a storm today brought me joy and a smile to my face. Reading emails from you makes me happy also, you are a ray of sunshine and I do love all your positive thoughts. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful colors. I’ve been doing some extra crocheting, stars and scarves, for my family and friends. I’m also trying my hand at facemasks, but those aren’t coming too well.
I love all the beautiful colors and I have never seen such beauty in the yarn you make and dye. Very beautiful and amazing I have never tryed it before
I tried to enter but the link wasn’t working.
Thanks for letting us know.
I’ve been having the same problem for several days now, too.
Yes, I’m spending a little more time knitting, and trying to not feel guilty about it.
I just finished a tutu and t shirt for my niece. She is 1 today!
Also, have a few WIPS. Some masks, sweater etc!
This yarn is absolutely beautiful!!! I’ve never tried hand dyed yarn. Crossing my fingers!!
I’m not doing as much crocheting as if like because I’m an essential employee (at Walmart, natch), but I’m off today and I intend to put a few inches on the scarf I’m working on.
What’s been making me smile is that, even though I’m seeing such terrible things every day and I’m going home exhausted and frustrated and sad because people are rude and tired and don’t listen, there are little kids and babies in carts who just want to smile and wave and make silly faces with me and my coworkers because they’re scared, too. And they don’t know what’s going on, and they just want a sign that it’s going to be okay.
Thank you so much for all that you are doing. We appreciate you. ❤️
I crochet and knit a lot anyway. Being disabled, I think that I am coping quite well being secluded and not being around anyone except my husband. I really muss visitors though. The extra time I do have I seem to be designing more than usual. The yarn is gorgeous. My cart is full right now, I’m just trying to decide before its gone. I hope you all stay safe!
Haven’t quite cast on with wild abandon but I have started a few new projects to keep my hands busy and my brain calm!
Dear Chandi, thank you for some really informative and inspiring videos. Today, I viewed the Find Your Path shawl video and fell in love immediately with it! I have pre-ordered the Coastal Hues yarn kit and cannot wait to receive it! Your yarn is so beautiful!. I am very fortunate that just before this terrible pandemic hit… I picked up knitting (after at least 10 years of not knitting at all) I had a decent stash and for some reason took it all out and started knitting again, then found knitting podcasts on YouTube, then started buying yarn… new needles, and other goodies, and I have been knitting like crazy since about the beginning of January. Thank goodness I did this, otherwise I would be going crazy staying home with idle hands. I am also a quilter, but lately I have found my knitting to be very calming and so very enjoyable. I love all of your videos, thank you so much for sharing with us.
I’ve been crocheting about the same amount, I am doing more out in the garden though! 🙂
Oh, my favorite color range! I finished two projects, Trillium shawl (so gorgeous) and a dropped stitch scarf, but haven’t resumed anything else as my attention has shifted to mask making. Stay safe friends!
YUM – blues and purples. I’ve been trying to knit but my attention span (or lack thereof) has surely slowed me down. Thank you for the upbeat and inspiring messages. They really help!
All the yarns are gorgeous, but these might be my favorites!! I’m still working, so not a whole lot of extra time at the moment. I’m actually working more hours than normal.
I usually drive a school bus, but these last weeks have been filled with meal deliveries for the students in our county. Very rewarding to know we are making a small
difference in kids’ lives!
Finished two projects so far! Got mmy mojo back 😀 Stay well.
I’m getting close to finishing a sweater which had been sitting on a shelf for a year. Feels great!
Blue is my favourite colour, so I would love to win this collection! 😘 😻 I am retired so I am crocheting about as much as I always did, although now there are fewer interruptions. Stay safe f thank you for these giveaways.
Every time I say to myself “Enough! already” you post irresistible colorways and I’m done! I recently received the kit for your Brunnera wrap and I’m looking forward to starting – -but for now, I’m fascinated with your Geode cowl using the colorway shown in the pattern and I’m hooked. Thank you for the tutorial on color poolin. This will definitely be interesting to see how things turn out!
I would be going insane right now without my knitting! Not only does it fill time with something productive, but it soothes my anxiety and brings me comfort. I’m gearing up to donate some things to essential workers soon, depending on needs – probably hats and mittens mostly (it’s still half winter here in CO). I wish I could be doing more, but I’m doing what I can.
I have been crocheting just odds and ends – trying to finish up different projects…till I hurt my right thumb. I never realized how crippled and helpless you are without that one digit on your hands!! It is even taking for ever to type this. lol.
Hubby says if I win these yarns that he wants something because he has such pretty baby blue eyes. lol. well, he does have pretty blue eyes – tho those baby blues are now 87, almost 88 yrs old. 🙂
I hope you feel better soon.
Chandi, as usual your selection of yarns is right on. These blues are definitely my colors. What a great range of things that will work alone or together with others in the selection. You are so amazing Chandi to share these beautiful fibers with us, as well as your patterns, videos and pearls of wisdom that are so meaningful and inspiring, especially during these difficult times. I hope that all of your fiber community and family stay safe and well out there. Meanwhile, I will cross my needles that I can be the lucky winner this month. Thank you again for doing this for us.
These are luxurious colors Chandi! I am gearing up to crochet a baby cocoon and a baby blanket!
Your yarns are so delicious!
Did everyone see the moon? What a glorious sight! I delight in all that Elohim, our Creator, has given us to appreciate and take care of!
Even if I do not win this give away, I pray that everyone enjoys the blessings we each receive! Reach out and touch another’s life today!!
Blessings to all.
💖💃🏻
I have decided to make challenge for myself during this pandemic: work on old forgotten WIPs. I had forgotten how much I loved to work on each one, and I have fallen in love with them all over again after months of leaving them in a corner in my craft room. I have crocheted so much more during these past weeks since we have a clear calendar. I miss my yarny friends, but am so thankful for places like YouTube were we can connect, even if we’re not together physically. It is such a blessing!
I love blues and grays together. My knitting room is on the second floor of our home and the window gives me a great view of the sky. These yarns look like they were dyed to match my view!
Could anything be more beautiful?
Every one of these yarns is exquisite!
I buy my yarn ONLY from EFA!! The quality of the yarn is fabulous! The yardage is very generous!! And the colors — THE COLORS!! — make me swoon!!! Please keep up the good work. And do keep yourself, and those close to you, safe and healthy!!
I have been having a wonderful time using marco polo to hang out and speak with my friends. I am also enjoying all of the knitting time where I can either watch shows/movies or audio books and snuggle with my cat. And I finally have time to really use my Bluprint subscription and learn all sorts of new things. Thank you for sharing with us, creating beautiful yarn, and just writing beautiful emails that make me smile every time they come in.
Your emails always brighten my day when I see all of the beautiful colors. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to work on my crocheting. Have been taking care of my husband since 2/21 and he has since passed away. I’m doing okay though as he fought for a long time. Wishing everyone a happy Easter and stay well!
I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you love. ❤️
I’ve been working on finally getting my TV/sitting room finished up. Once I’m done with that I’ll have the perfect place for working on projects. I’m in love with the blues in the yards for this giveaway. It’s my favorite color, after all.
Hi Chandi, I’m knitting more than usual as it helps me to distract and cope. I started several projects and participate in a knit along. Focusing on knitting makes for better days even so nature’s bursting colors call me to go outside, but I’ll do my part and stay home. Thank you and be well.
Thanks so much for the chance on all the beautiful yarn.
It is appreciated!!!
Stay safe!!!
Hi! Hope you are doing well in these weird times… I started knitting socks from the toes up with the magic loop technic. Two socks at the same time! I love it! Did one pair with the Expression Fiber arts wool! I just love them! Will start another project like this one as soon as I am finished my Airy Secret Shawl with your Alpaca silk lace! Have a wonderful spring love that tree you posted on Instagram!
I have finished a Feather and Fan shawl, casted on Find Your Path, and another shawl pattern. Trying to learn to knit from charts with a hat pattern. It is stretching every brain cell God gave me to do it, but I keep trying.
Love the colors in your giveaway assortment. You are so generous!
Hi Chandi! I know I always mention your lovely yarns/colors; but, I am going to take this moment to thank you! Thank you SO much for your inspirational and uplifting words. I am retired nurse…59yo, chronically ill/permanently disabled for 4 years now, and I live my life with a ‘glass half full’ mindset. I have a strong faith, and appreciate the little things! It is always refreshing to hear (or read), an uplifting word. I live in a community of 35K or so. When I venture out to get my essentials, I am thrilled to see the number of people who are being kind and considerate of others. It is rare that I hear someone complain (go figure!), and frequent that I hear a chuckle, see a smile, or hear someone saying thank you to the stockers and cashiers for doing what they do! It has been refreshing to see! 🤗 💞🌷
Hi Chandi, I haven’t been able to do any extra knitting or crochet right now. I work an essential services job (agriculture sector to keep people fed!) and am usually wrung out by the time I get home. I am also one of “those” people who’s yarn stash is epic and was prepared for this situation, and I can’t even find time or energy to play with it!!
Thank you so much for all that you are doing right now. We appreciate you. <3
Dear Chandi!!! Those colors are amazing! I am currently working on a shawl with a EFA Mystery bundle i purchased months ago” Alpaca/silk DK ” in a beautiful shade of misty sage! This yarn is so nice to work with and I think it is my new favorite. Thanks Again for the inspiration.
I’m lovingly creating a waistcoat for my hubz whilst sitting in the sunshine and soaking up the wonderful birdsong
I’ve been crocheting a storm, though nothing is actually finished yet.
All your giveaways and all your yarn are always so beautiful! During this time I have been crocheting like crazy. I made 2 cardigans for myself and 2 scarves, I’m I’m in the middle of a baby blanket and I also just learned how to knit! Yay! (from your videos, might I add) so I just knit myself a scarf – just the knit stitch. LOL Now I’m learning how purl. I do find it a little bit harder then the knit stitch but I’m sticking with it. thank you so much for all your instruction! And giveaways!
Love your yarns, always so bright and beautiful and they are fabulous for my projects!!!!
My grandmother passed away 2 years ago and she used to make me knitted dish cloths so I finally found her pattern so I can always have them and smile when I use them.
Hi Chandi! These are such beautiful colors! I haven’t necessarily had more time to craft. I am lucky enough to be able to work from home at this time, and that and my Toddler keeps me pretty busy. I have still been buying yarn and fiber though from different vendors to help some small businesses locally. I got to attend a virtual fiber festival late weekend too which was great!
I absolutely love your yarns. As for my pace, it has slowed considerably as I work in a hospital I am working overtime. Look forward to your emails along with fleece and harmony.
i love these blue hues! I am still in process of completing a car seat blanket for our first grandchild! I have also knitted 2 face masks (lined with 2 layers of t-shirt sleeve material) in case we get to the point where it is mandated to wear them when going out.
The colors are just so beautiful. Thanks for your generosity 💕
I have been doing some stitching on a needlework project, but I’m itching to get some knitting done too. Hubby and I have also been doing a lot of binge watching of our favourite shows. This yarn is just gorgeous and you are such a generous soul. Wishing you and your hubby a safe journey through this surreal time.
These yarns are so pretty. Month to month I just drool over the colors. I’m just learning to knit, but have crocheted for decades. Never with yarn of this quality as I only had access to what was available at our local store. Now I can see my budget stretching to fit these in. Just need to not be nervous about messing the yarn up if the project doesn’t quite fit it. Keep up the wonderful work.
Blue is my favourite colour so I would love to win this collection. You have some beautiful yarns & I always love crocheting with them. I am retired so crocheting about the same amount but with fewer interruptions. Thank you for your great giveaways. Judy
Love the colors! This month I have been treating myself to some new socks and this week I am starting to make “ear savers” to donate to first responders who get sores from wearing masks.
Beautiful yarns!!! I would love to win. Thank you for a chance to win.
Something that makes me happy every day is our puppy, Freya. I thought that my husband lost his mind last year when he suggested getting another dog, but I have to admit that having her has really been a sanity saver for us all. (Despite the fact that she wants to “herd” my mini sheep [that would be any yarn with wool in it] right into her mouth.).
These giveaways are so great! Thank you and good luck everyone!😁
I’ve been stash diving and have finished a short-sleeved pullover and started another. I am also working on designing a new sock and have also been spinning an alpaca bamboo mix. It is so soft.
Recently started crocheting mask keepers for a group making masks for donations. These keeper’s will save the ears from the elastic of the masks. It has really warmed my heart to be able to help out using my craft. God bless and stay healthy.
Thank you for your uplifting emails and videos. This has been such a horrible year so far, for so many reasons….the beauty and peace that you bring to my inbox each day is one of the few things I look forward to and save. Thank you for the inspiration, both in projects and in attitudes. God bless you, your family and your business. 🙂 (PS…this is one of the most beautiful and serene stacks of yarn I’ve ever seen…I may have to blow it up and frame it for my craft room, when I finally get a house!)
ces laines sont tellement belles, lumineuses et chatoyantes, on ne sait quoi choisir!
Belles fetes de Pâques!
Here in Hong Kong, we’ve had no school since the end of January. For a while we staff were going in to work on videos and on-line lessons, till we were told to work from home. We had some staff well-being activities and skill sharing, so I taught knitting. So proud of my colleagues- one Indian lady told me all her aunties back home are thrilled!
One of the young ones is starting on baby clothes for her pregnant friends, so I’ve been trouble shooting for her by WhatsApp. Knitting is one skill, pattern reading is another!
Hope we’ll get back to work and be able to do it in person again.
Ces laines sont tellement belles, lumineuses et chatoyantes, on ne sait quoi choisir!
Belles fêtes de Pâques!
Thank you for the monthly yarn give away! Since “Sheltering at Home” almost a month ago I have been knitting more than ever before. In addition I have been working on a cross stitch project I started several years ago. Of course it involves knitting – Shaun the Sheep!
I work in a cancer center near New York. The situation has been pretty bad here. I got started on the Milla Shawl that I got from your website! I am doing it with a pink and teal color–I think it is going to be gorgeous. I stuff my face in my cat’s belly and rub it every day to get some much-needed joy!
I’m currently attempting the Cirrus tank. Only my 3rd ever crochet (I’ve made two different pillow covers and oval and a square). Thanks so much for all your encouraging posts and giveaways and Friday freebies
I’ve been knitting when I watch TV like I normally do. I started a summer top with a diamond lace design. But with the nice weather I’ve been getting out in my yard to try taming it from the last 3 years of neglect because I was working too much overtime. Lol
Beautiful blues! I always enjoy seeing your lovely designs! I am able to work from home still. But in between that, cleaning, and getting outside to do yard work, I have a number of craft projects I have been working on.
Thank you for bringing color to our lives! 😊
I am so in love with every colour I see from you. Even the ones that I have never used look gorgeous.
Thank you so much for offering this giveaway. Your yarn is so beautiful and I enjoy seeing the lovely color combinations that you come up with. Always a bright spot in my day!
Still crocheting the same amount. No happy news to share other than we’re healthy! Thanks for the lovely yarn giveaway.
I’m still working, so not a lot of extra time. One of my neighbors is a P.A. in a small clinic and put out the requests for masks so I have been sewing up as many as I can for for her and her coworkers. She said they are wearing the washable cloth over their medical masks to make them last longer. It feels so great to be able to help, even that tiny little bit! I am also super excited that it is spring and all of my birds are laying eggs again, I get to share chicken, goose and turkey eggs with my neighbors and family. Most are a bit hesitant to try the goose and turkey eggs but once they do, they are hooked! I know it sounds a bit silly, but in times like this, being able to smile (at a distance) with neighbors and friends really helps. I appreciate your inspirational emails, most make me smile some bring a tear to my eye, but that is a good thing sometimes.
Thank you for all you do! I hope you, your family and your staff all stay safe and healthy.!
I don’t know how you do it, but each month the colors are even more beautiful than the last. No wonder I have so many skeins in my stash.
Hey Chandi,
I have fallen in love with your yarn. sometimes hard to keep up with. But with all the extra time we’ve had with this Covid-19, I’ve been able to make up time and using yarn all the time (whether crochet or knitting) during the extra free time that I’ve had lately. Making a vest at the moment, going to finish a lace jacket that was too small. Going to make 2 side panels and then sew all the seams and will have another item to cover my shoulders at work.
The best thing that I’ve enjoyed is being able to spend time outside and enjoy the beautiful weather listening to the birds sing, watching the squirrels play, and watching my dog endlessly chasing after lizards. I love the outside and am so grateful that this pandemic happened during nicer weather than the sweltering heat of the summer.
Thanks for the constant encouraging words you send. I look through my email looking for your emails to see the “word of the day” after seeing the “Word of the Day (Bible verses). I wish you joy 100% + Joy that you have shared and helped others. Have a beautiful day!!
Chandi, I love the colors! Actually there is not much of your yarns that I don’t like.
I have been knitting, which I’m still pretty new at. I just made my first cable knit hat, and I am very happy with it!
This is my first global pandemic birthday month. I’d love to win 🙂
Right now I’m making masks for people.
Stay safe😄
🤞🏻That I am fortunate enough to have my name chosen this month as the colours are gorgeous & I’m nearing the end of suitable yarns for chemo hats in my stash. Y sister has just started a 6 mo ordeal & I’d like to make sure that’s she’s every bit the same styling soul as before. Thanks for the opportunity.💐
Haven’t been doing much of anything crochet or knit wise. Made a commitment to reduce my footprint so I’m finding myself very limited as to what yarns I can buy. Footprintless (I made up a word ;)) yarns make up maybe 20% of what’s available out there and I’m tired of slogging thru the grass to find the flowers!
I’m staying safe and sane and I hope you are too. (I’m an introvert too )
I have enjoyed letting that creative person back to the surface during this stay at home. I’ve got patterns marked to make for me (finally). Finishing a child hat for a birthday at the moment. And would like to start on Christmas. lol. yeah, I’ll be happy to make one shawl from your site I’ve got marked, and start on Christmas gifts. <True goal 🙂
A happy? Oh a few! A family group zoom chat. A great rain last night, with a beautiful rolling of thunder and lightning included. The busy birds chirping away this morning. Appreciating my time at this time.
Blessings! Thank you both, for all of your sharing and love <3
Dear Chandi, I just love all your yarn. Awesome. Made some shawls I use constantly. Warm cozy beautiful colors to enjoy. I am a caregiver for my wonderful loving husband who has Alzheimer’s. He is only 67 .I spend much time sitting knitting and and crochet . I treasure these moments with my dear husband . I love all colors but blue tones are one of my favorite. To me working with yarn is healing and give me time to reflect on what’s is important in life. To treasure togetherness. I love the little notes and quotes that comes with the yarn. Look forward to order more.
I have just been testing crochet patterns and trying to get some sewing in. Hat really done much besides the regular house work and Mom stuff lol
Haven’t*
My thinking today:
“Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?”

Greetings from Wisconsin, Chandi! Yes, while complying with the stay-at-home initiative I finished writing a pattern I designed for my mom – Embrace Me Five Ways. Although my parents live only 45 minutes away, I had to mail the finished gift to her instead of delivering it to her in person. She just received it yesterday and loves! There are so many beautiful dk and sport weight yarns from Expression Fiber Arts that would work fabulously for this piece!
I’ve also been doing more weaving. My BFF is ready to start the sleeves on your Fennmont sweater with Twisted Tweed Sport. Looking good!!!
Knit on!
Chandi, your giveaways are always so beautiful!
I have been home for two weeks now. Not as healthy as I would like to be, but it has been productive. I have been crocheting, resting, but best of all, through this storm, I will be starting my new career in the Healthcare field soon. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and I am grateful for the results I am seeing. Everyone stay safe out there and enjoy what every day brings!
Such beautiful yarn! Spring is here on the farm so even with the move to WFH I don’t have as much time to knit. Baby animals need extra care!
These are beautiful!
Hi Chandi, I received my order of Wisp Lace yarns yesterday and opened the bag to beautiful colors! They are all laid out on my table and I am imagining what they will become! Your Giveaway is so generous, I’m sure the winner will be besides themself to create something beautiful out those beautiful blues and grays! Thank you for your generosity!🧶🌺
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed having my husband home, so we can spend more time together. He’s in the military, so he doesn’t get that much time off. Also having access to so many tutorials out there so I can craft like crazy.
Love the blues! I usually try to knit at least a little bit every day.
I’ve been doing a lot of extra knitting/crochet. Just finished a shawl and will be knitting soon another new shawl with yarn I just purchased from you. I also purchased your Coastal Yarn for the Find Your path Shawl. I can’t wait for the yarn and to get started on that project!!! You make beautiful yarn in absolutely gorgeous colors!
I have been crocheting more and I have finished some WIPs, but I’ve also been going through and re-organizing my yarn stash, since I MAY have added to it (a lot) since the last time. Something that makes me smile and laugh is seeing silly or sweet pictures of my grandkids.
So gorgeous! I just got brave and cast on my very first cardigan. I ordered three of the lovely yarn club colors in March, and I’m planning to learn two color brioche and knit them into a shawl. So excited!
I love these soothing colors. For my current knitting, I’m on the last 6 rows of a huge blanket I’ve been making for 1 1/2 years. Very excited to finish it and give it to someone who survived a serious motorcycle accident.
Hello Lovely Lady, You are such an inspiration. I look forward to your newsletters and especially the tutorials. Love your sense of self and your words are encouraging and so true. I find myself enjoying the bloopers as much as the content. Oh did I mention the! gorgeous yarn. LOVE! I am retired so the stay at home is not as much of a challenge for me as it is for others. I feel for them. I am a lifetime crafter and now presently knitter and sewer. Staying busy and keeping the faith. Keep those words of inspiration coming. Thanks, Juanita in Californis
I have been enjoying getting outside in our garden – sowing seeds and preparing beds for growing vegetables. The weather has been so lovely this last week – really warm here in the UK. I have also been working on my little box of crochet from ages ago! It is so helpful to have something to do and be creative to calm the mind during this time.
Loving these colours – just gorgeous! xx
I’m sorry to say but I have lost my knitting mojo. I just don’t feel like knitting right now.
Hi Chandi,
Hope you and your family are doing well. My hubby and I have been doing a lot of work in the veggie garden, planting more than we need so we can share with neighbors and taking care of our animals… goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, rabbits, and giving away free eggs to people in our area who may be in need. We have a momma duck sitting on some eggs right now and are expecting to have some ducklings wandering around any day now. I knit, crochet, spin, and dye yarn and fibers and would love to win the yarn in your giveaway. Just trying to stay busy and sane in this crazy time. I have about 5-6 works in progress going right now so I can trade off when I get bored with one. Take care of yourself and thank you for offering so much love and generosity to the community.
Cindy Q.
I have been enjoying having the time to keep up with my knitting and to start new projects, I haven’t been bored at all.
I’ve been trying to create me own shawl during this quarantine! While it’s been trying at times, I have been enjoying this extra time with my husband! Who knows when we may have this time again together! Life gets so busy; maybe this is a reminder to cherish and make time with those we love.
Your yarns are mouth-watering. Your messages are comforting at this time. I guess I’m knitting more now because it helps me keep calm. I’m also watching more You-Tube Knitting videos and vlogs. Now that I’ve made inroads in my stash, I can’t wait to get more yarn to use for your lovely patterns.
This past month it’s been about the small things and hopefully there’ll be 5 more FO’s for April. Mind you, there’s also the small things that are going to be joined for much larger things so a couple of those are being done each month as well.
Had to laugh.. my very upwardly mobile, must do, donate, volunteer for everything every day almost 88 years old mother, mentioned in a phone call she couldn’t believe how much knitting she was getting done since we’ve all been social distancing. I said yes mum, that’s what can happen when you actually take some time off from doing all the things. Of course I had to finish off the phone call(well at her insistence) after 25 minutes because she had to get back to her knitting. Even with the change, some things still haven’t changed..like her having time for a chat… but at least I know for now she’s doing things ‘all the things’ safely. 😉
Keep safe, Chandi… I for one would miss your little pep talk emails every week, they’re a highlight for me. xo
Just getting back to a tunic I started knitting last year. Had to stop to get 2 baby quilts, a queen size quilt and 2 throws done before I could get back to it. So nice to have needles in the hands again, now if I could make it with those gorgeous balls of yumminess that would be even better. Happy Easter and thanks for the opportunity.
I Love your yarns❣ These colors are wonderfully yummy😁😊. I wish I had more time to crochet & spin, but I am one of the fortunate ones, still working full time😊
I have a lot to be greatful for, and that makes me smile😁
Incredible colors. I’ve been knitting for 18 years now, since I was 12, and I realized recently that I’ve always chosen my projects based on patterns I wanted to make instead of yarns I wanted to use. I am really getting more and more warmed up to the idea of first choosing the fiber and colors that I love and letting those guide me to what they’re meant to be. These colors are incredible — the kind of blues you can’t stop staring at. would love love love to make a blue lace winter shawl with some of these tones.
i’m finding that during these times I keep the stress and anxiety at by by spending my late nights knitting for hours, until 1 or 2am. I keep the window open and get to feel the spring breeze, burn a candle, and have hours of beautiful alone time to create.
Such GORGEOUS colors! Makes me think of all kinds of water.
Beautiful!
STUNNING colors in the giveaway this month – both calm and vibrant! These yarns are especially welcome as we are all spending more time at home – more time to knit and crochet! Thank you for offering these.
I have been knitting a little more than before and making masks of course. My grand daughter made my biscuits and gravy for the first time, it was a wonderful sharing moment! 💜
wow, wow I love those colors. I’m always buying blue yarns. You’re such a sweet person and very positive. This is what is really needed right now. Your yarns are gorgeous. Believe you take such thought when producing them and finding just the right project. I always enter your giveaways, hoping to win won day. Thanks for your generosity.
Ooooo!…..I love these blue shades. I can think of so many projects that would look great in blue.
Thank you so much, Chandi, for the wonderful giveaways! Stay safe and be well.
I just finished a baby blanket with 2 of your amazing yarns. It was for a co-worker of my husband whos hsving they’re first kid. It brought me so much joy to receive a text from his wife (whom I’ve never met) that she loved the blanket & that it was the first blanket they have received.
Your yarn is my go to yarn.
Still teaching from home and Zooming with clients but the sunlight streaming into my bedroom all day calls me to rest a while and crochet.
Love the colors! Have been knitting in the evenings and weekends when I can.
I beautiful collection of blues! I am super impressed.
The Pause we are in, though scary, has allowed me the joy of time…time I don’t have when working full time. I am spinning about 200 yards a day, have a knitted sweater, a knitted shawl and a beaded crocheted wrap on my needles and no guilt that a I spend the better part of the day with fiber! Thank you for your beautiful colors and for sharing so much with us!
These colors are so gorgeous! I’m so happy to have this time with my husband. He usually works nights and I don’t get to see him. I love just sitting next to him on the couch and knitting.
Again, I love the colours in the give away this month. I almost always do. Recently I’ve been using up my scraps to make ear savers for our health care workers and others who must wear masks. keep safe and well everyone.
I’m trying to make my way through a shawl that’s been sitting on the needles for way too long.
Love the blues. Trying to catch up and get back to my fiber arts but busy doing more cooking and sewing at the moment.
I absolutely love the colors of your yarn! When I get to go back to work, I’d love to order the bright blue/white! I’m a beginner, currently finishing a crochet baby blanket for my soon-to-be-born grandson. I aspire to learn knitting soon too! You are a lovely lady, thank you for sharing your talent! I love your patterns
Beautiful colours and different textures any one would be over the moon 🌓 to win this bundle of loveliness of yarn 🧶 u do a brilliant job every day I wait for you to come on I’m uk so up before you I’ve brought most of your patterns just need your yarn lol 😂 you are blessed xxxx
Thank you for the beautiful yarn you offer as a giveaway and for all the different yarns you have to purchase. Most of all thank you for your inspirational comments and for sharing yourself especially during these difficult times.
They are so beautiful!!! Thank you!!!
Love these colors! Fortunately I stocked up on chew toys at the beginning of shelter in place to keep the pup busy while I knit 🐾 thank you!
Such a generous giveaway! thank you.
I am crocheting projects for Disabled Veterans, Mother’s Day, birthday, and Christmas gifts for family.
Pretty Pretty! I’m working on a round blanket…slowly!
Such beautiful colours in the giveaway! What a treat! This month I am working on a MKAL that my local yarn shop started, called “We Don’t Need To Be Scared Alone”. It’s looking like it will likely be a blanket, but it’s hard to know for sure because we are not halfway yet. The process has been very calming, and that’s what counts. 🙂
Thanks so much for the giveaway! On the needles right now, I have the Wingspan pattern, a ripple bralette and I’m about to cast-on a test-knit for a cardigan.
One often gets to see per chance to no longer be blue but joyful in is what my needles wish to work on such colors and fibers oh my. Truly wonderful to see thanks for the visual beauty.
Your yarn color ways are so nice. I like the one that is blue/gray color with flicks of yellow and purple. You are so thoughtful to have a monthly yarn giveaway. I have completed my towel and spa cloth project two sets (2 hand towels (one small and one large) and 2 spa cloths). The colors are gray and mint. I’m now working on a pair of socks and then will move to another project such as a sweater or shawl, I’m not sure.
Hi Chandi! I’ve been a long time crocheter but you taught me how to knit. In December, I watched the speed knitting video, over and over again and just kept practicing. I’ve made booties, fingerless gloves and a sweater for my boyfriend! I had a lot of difficulties and frogged so much of it but everything actually came out nice. I want to make a sweater for myself so I purchased your First Sweater video course for helpful tips as well as the Fennmont and Cumulus patterns and yarn (which is very nice!) Been crocheting like crazy…I think I’m addicted!!! Btw, I just love the videography and the accompanying music of your videos. Its top notch professional and classy. Also, your sweet, fun personality and clear instruction makes watching your videos very enjoyable and I’m learning lots. Thank you so much!!
Beautiful! I’ve been knitting for a new grandson that we sadly can’t visit due to border closures. Thankful for the postal service and FaceTime!
Your yarns are so beautiful. I appreciate your emails and youtube postings. Thank you so much for all your lovely patterns that you make available to us!
What beautiful colors. I love your yarn and patterns. I am still working, since I work in the food service, so I do not have as much time to knit as I would like. Plus I am packing up to get ready to move into a new place. Right now I am working on a sweater along with having to finish several other projects. I sure would love to some free yarn.
Beautiful blue,s.i crochet and knit and enjoy both very much but i,m so slow at knitting.
Hi, Chandi~ I’ve been following your YouTube channel for a few months but never realized you had a blog and a monthly give-a-way. How fabulous. This certainly made me smile. I am a novice crocheter who wants to learn to knit as well. This month you have really outdone yourselves. All of your beautiful blues and spring colors are so glorious, it is hard to decide what to buy. I wish I had more time for fiber arts, but I am an essential worker (grocery) so have not accomplished much. Happy Spring to you! 🐥🐝🐛🦋🌷🌸💕
As always, the yarns are beautiful! I have indeed been able to crochet more during this time. The thing that is making me smile the most is how well my family is getting along! Have a blessed day!
Just finished my 3rd The Shift cowl by Andrea Mowry. These are absolutely beautiful!
What a cornucopia of colors and textures and in my favorite color farm as well! Your generosity is unsurpassed. Thank you for the opportunity to win this bounty.
Stay safe all.
I’ve been working on a couple of shawls in between packing for a move
I have received many compliments on the Whirlwind cowl. I organized my yarn by stash I want to use up and the yarn I have from EFA.
I also organized my patterns. I am currently working on a baby blanket and a scarf and hat.
I enjoy your inspirational talks and how you say like it is. We have ups and downs and what’s going to get us through.
I am also getting back into reading. My issue is that I want to read but knitting pulls me in. Audio books have been suggested but then I feel like I am betraying books.
Besides I like to see how far along I’ve progressed in pages.
Continue being and doing you!
Lorraine
I’m finishing up a scrappy sweater and binge watching all kinds of terrible reality tv.
I have been blessed in that my work schedule hasn’t been affected, so I haven’t really had any extra time for crafting. I have been working on a baby blanket for my cousin and it is turning out really well, which is making me absolutely giddy whenever I take it out to work on it.
I just found you through Pinterest. Your yarn looks gorgeous. I look forward to buying some of it when I finish the project I just started from my LYS. Wanted to support them during the quarantine. Thanks for sharing some of your patterns for free. Stay safe and well!
