Hi there, beautiful soul!
Our pattern this week is an ethereal, boho wrap that is light and airy and full of movement, sparkle, and shine. Undulating, striped sections of dropped stitches create a lightweight shawl that features a fun, beaded fringed edge, and rows of beads and multicolor knitting throughout.
Mysa is a knit rectangular shawl designed by Monica Wesley and is inspired by the earthy colors in the Pearlescent Fingering Weight yarn kit called Mysa Hues (beads not included).
Have a watch! We have filmed a video tutorial for you on how to add beads to your knitted projects and how to work the Kitchener stitch:
The sample shown features our Pearlescent Fingering Weight Yarn in 5 earthy, solid colors.
Pearlescent Fingering is 50% superwash merino wool and 50% mulberry silk. Beautifully soft with a lovely drape and subtle shimmer from the silk.
It features dropped, elongated stitches and we have a tutorial for that here. We hope you LOVE this stunning shawl, full of color, texture and beads! I would say it’s for the intermediate knitter so have a go at it!
I appreciate you reading and if you’d love to get brand new, premium knit and crochet patterns weekly, just hop onto our email list there on the site. We list new patterns most Fridays and many are free for a limited time. I hope to see you there.
Talk to ya soon.
XOXOXO Chandi

Hi Chandi,
This my first time attempting the beaded fringe border. Is there a tutorial for this?
Thanks.
We didn’t film that part of the pattern. <3
Hi Chandi , I know this sounds strange but I would like to know what the name of the pattern is for that dress that you are wearing and for the other with the buttons all the way down. I would like to know so I can make one. I have been trying to find it. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
That was a pattern that I made up myself using the free people dress as a template. I am sorry I can’t be of more help. Unfortunately, I don’t see the dress on their website either.
Chandi, I have had this yarn and pattern just sitting while I tried to find the beads and finish up another project. Thank you so much for demonstrating the Kitchener stitch! I can’t wait to start knitting.
I have enjoyed making this shawl. I’m in the process of Kitchener stitching the pieces together. The yarn is so soft and tangles so much. I think because of the texture, softness, of the yarn it took much longer to make because the yarn tangled so much. I’ll soon be doing the fringe. That is scary since I’ve had so much tangling with this. The shawl is beautiful overall.
I have the Mysa pattern and I clicked on the link that said it was a link to the tutorial and it brought me to this page with no video. Any clues???

This is the part in the pattern: “The stitch is now ready to be knitted normally, and the bead will sit nicely in vertical alignment on the
stitch. Watch this technique in our video tutorial here.” the ‘here’ is a link to this page. I don’t see a viedeo?
