Squiggles was originally designed by Kristina Smiley and has been updated by our amazing EFA design team. Squiggles is a fun and colorful baby blanket that’s filled with plenty of stripes, squiggles, and lots of giggles. Sized to keep the recipient warm through the toddler years. You can also customize this blanket to create a larger throw.

This Intermediate level pattern is ideal for those crocheters who feel comfortable with crocheting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/ concepts include working with multiple colors and special combination stitches. The pattern contains written instructions only.

The original version of our Squiggles blanket was made with our scrumptious Luster Worsted yarn. This delightful yarn is soft and strong and wonderful for sweaters, blankets, accessories, and more! Luster Worsted is a blend of 50% Superwash Merino Wool and 50% Lyocell, a plant fiber. The gorgeous sheen from the Lyocell adds to this yarn’s appeal! 200 yds/183 m per skein.

The original version used three skeins of Color A and one skein each of Colors B, C, D, and E in colors: A) Jungle, B) Moment of Zen, C) Saffron, D) Favorite Lipstick, and E) Pansy Luster Worsted.

The updated version of Squiggles was made with our Limited Edition Restore Chunky yarn. Restore Chunky is a unique, upcycled yarn. When our mill spins up luxury yarns, there are often leftover fibers. So we asked them to gather their fiber tidbits and spin them into this yarn base, so nothing goes to waste. Restore Chunky is a blend of 36% alpaca, 37% wool, and 27% Viscose with 109 yds/100 m per skein. Soft, scrumptiously delightful, and works up quickly!

The updated version is shown in colors: A) Beam, B) Invigorate, C) Contemplate, D) Ingenuity, and E) Initiative Restore Chunky. Five skeins of Color A and one skein each of Colors B–E (nine skeins total) are needed.
