I am a newbie knitter. I heard about the giveaway from your mailing list. I would love to win and get some really awesome yarn. Right now, I buy cheapie yarn because I’m a beginner. If I win, I will make something and keep it for myself!

I learned about the giveaway through the blog, but I learned about the blog from Expression Fiber Arts online store. If I won I would use the yarn to make a scarf and beanie for my husband to keep him warm, as long as it wasn’t pink. If it was then I would make a cowl for my mom, who taught me how to crochet.

Found out about the giveaway on tumblr.

I’ve got so many wip right now it’ll likely be March/April before I get around to starting anything new, so this lovely yarn would be used for a nice shawl or some fingerless gloves (or socks, socks are always a good go to).

I stumbled upon your site searching for crochet patterns on Pinterest. If I were to win this, I’d use the hooks myself, and make something nice for my mom with the yarn. ❀️❀️

  16. Olivia Sander January 16, 2016 at 4:54 pm - Reply

I spotted the giveaway on Pinterest while having my morning mocha, and then promptly filled out the information (and, not being entirely awake yet, managed to enter my Twitter username in the box for my Pinterest username. That’s right, I’m a dork. lol) and here we are!

As for what I’d do, there are so many projects I have in mind it’d be hard to choose. I do know that anything with wool will be passed on to a friend since I’m allergic to the lanolin in wool. And I am a crocheter, so those hooks would be awesome to have. They’d certainly see a lot of use. I’m completely hooked on crochet. Ha!

  17. Cassandra H. January 16, 2016 at 4:57 pm - Reply

If I win the giveaway, I would learn how to crochet! I am currently learning how to knit!

I love crocheting! The first video I watched to teach me how to crochet and knit was yours! You def are easy to follow and interesting! I love the fact that you are taking the time to give something away! It’s very wonderful that there are people who know how to “pay it forward”! The world needs more of that and less caring about themselves! I came across this on your page as well as Pinterest! If I were to win, I would use them to complete my task I have set for myself this year! I want to make hats for all the cancer kids at Children’s healthcare of Atlanta! I’m a paramedic so I tend to do for others rather than myself!! Life’s more rewarding that way! Thanks for the giveaway and good luck to everyone!

I heard about the giveaway on Pinterest. If I won I’d be making Christmas gifts for everyone this year!!! You make such beautiful yarn and so far have only one skein and it was a gift. I don’t even know what to do with it it’s too beautiful haha.

I saw this giveaway on Pinterest. Though I could do a ton of different things with this yarn, I would like to make scarves for the women in my life that have supported me through my 3 surgeries that I’ve had within the past 4 years and the other 2 upcoming surgeries that I will need. Thank you for the opportunity

Hi Chandi. I heard about this giveaway because I regularly check out your blog. If I won, I would be impatiently checking the mail each day until it arrived, and once it did, I would probably cuddle with all the yarn for a while. Afterwards, I would pick my favorites to make something nice for myself, and then make gifts for friends to share my good fortune. I would be just as delighted with the new crochet hooks as with the yarn, as a crocheter can never have too many good crochet hooks.

I decided tonight that I would see how hard it is to crochet as I am wanting to finish a blanket my grandmother started making for me but never got to finish before she passed away. I did a bit of YouTube searching and came across you channel. I’ve since watched every video you have and am excited to try learning and get decent before I work on the blanket. So I signed up for your news letter and found this contest so decided to give it a shot and see how my luck throws out. Thanks for the tutorial videos. It really has me excited for my future in crocheting if that’s even a word.

I heard about this giveaway because I check your blog often now but I originally heard about your giveaways last month from your youtube videos after I googled “How to Crochet” and your videos came up. Your silly and fun attitude and easy-to-follow instructions keep me coming for more!

If I were to win this yarn, I’m not exactly sure what I’d do with it yet since I’m just slightly past a beginner in crochet and haven’t even dared to attempt knitting yet but I think I would want the gold one to be a poncho/cardigan type thing and the pink one to be an infinity scarf for me. I would also make something for my two daughters (2 1/2 and 1) and my son who is 5 because they got all of my beginner items (hats and headbands) and they deserve something that looks nicer. =) I would also like to make my husband something he would like because the hat I made him is questionable at best although he says he likes it and wears it anyway.

I heard about this via your website. Love love LOVE your yarns! What would I do if I won this luscious prize? I would first do the happy dance then as soon as I received the items I’d squish the yarn and feel how wonderful each skein felt then I’d find/create patterns for them. They would tell me what they want to become and then I’d make it all.

  77. Paty January 17, 2016 at 3:10 pm - Reply

I’m a latecomer to yarn arts. A few years ago I got curious and it didn’t take long for me to be completely hooked. I learned to crochet via YouTube, but now I feel stuck, so of course, the next step is spinning, dying, knitting and going all out!
I found your site via Facebook while looking for a private spinning instructor (btw, if you have a referral I’d greatly appreciate it). What I was most impressed with is to see how business savvy you are, may I say most artists are not ? . I owns three businesses and I believe you’ve got a way to “infect” people with your almost tangible love for what you do.
I got sidetracked by your FB page, your website and your blog, you got the whole social media approach figured out! I’m really impressed.
If I win, I will use it in my pursuit of learning how to knit, and as part of immersing myself into my personal journey into “everything fiber”!

I saw the Pinterest post today and knew I had to enter! I think the first thing I would do is pick the absolutely softest yarn and make something nice and warm for my grandmother, who has recently beaten cancer. After that, I noticed one of the yarns was an exact match for my sister’s wedding colors. She’s getting married in July in the mountains and a lightweight shawl in that yarn would be perfect for the chilly evening air, without being too warm or overbearing.

I think I’d have to say that I’ve only been knitting & crocheting seriously for about 2 years, but I learned 25 years ago and have picked it up and put it back down over the years. If I won this, I’d probably stare at it for a long time. Then I’d take pictures of it. Then I’d stare at it for a little longer. After that, I’d put it on my lap and browse Ravelry for a week. Would I knit it up for someone? I’m not sure. Most likely, as everything I knit seems to fall into the hands of friends or family, regardless of whether I planned it that way. The colors of your yak/silk on your website blew my mind, and even my sister, a non-yarn crafter, was drooling. Great work, there, truly. πŸ˜‰

I saw this giveaway on Facebook, as always, because I continuously stalk your gorgeous yarn and swoon and drool over the most beautiful yarn and colorways I’ve ever seen! I DO buy the worsted weight when I can, because I’m saving up to make a special EFA afghan. I think I might wait until I get enough of all the cities in worsted weight. But there are so many beautiful colorways coming out in worsted weight, that now I might be collecting for two. πŸ™‚ Thank you for making the most beautiful yarn on earth. My only request is to bring back Enchanted Forest on worsted and to continuously PLEASE increase the worsted weight selection! You’re doing great! πŸ™‚

Chandi — I saw the giveaway in your email newsletter.
My mother taught me how to knit in my teenage years. I recall watching her create a scarf from spools of yarn and wanted to see how she managed to do it so effortlessly. She gave me two knitting needles and started me off slowly. I caught on fairly quick and managed to make my own scarf. I felt like McGuyver — needles + string = scarf! It was amazing. As a guy, it wasn’t high on my list of “cool” things to do, but I continued because, dang…it was a great way to meditate, clear my head, and create something in the process.
Now in my mid-40’s, I’ve gotten rusty, but I’d like to pick up the hobby again and teach my kids this great hobby — something that they, too, can pass along to their kids. And if they find peace and enjoy knitting as much as I did, mission accomplished.

I already subscribe to emails and bought some beautiful deep red yarn- luscious! I would love to win though! My budget is limited and I would probably teach my BFF to knit and make her some things to lighten her heart. Her husband died in May( dropped dead of an abdominal aneurysm ) next to her on the couch. We are not old either. She had to sell her house and move to an apt. Today is actually her move date. She also has to give away her dog. Sorry so long, but she needs her heart lightened

I heard about it from your email this time! Usually I see it on Facebook first! We just moved & I’m so thrilled to have space for all my yarn & other crafty pursuits, but of course now my yarn budget is zilch, so winning a bunch of your yarn would be most welcome! πŸ™‚

I am OBSESSED with the yarns that y’all make! I first found a video of yours on how to knit when I was starting out, which led me to the how to crochet video, which led me to your website, and now I follow you on every social media app that I have! Your yarns are incredible, amazing colors and always so soft and luxurious! If I won, I would add these yarns to my WonderBox! (Sounds a little weird, I know, but I’m a senior in college, and I don’t often have too much free time, so every time I find a fantastic pattern of yours, or you release a new yarn that I just HAVE to have, I order as many as I need for the project, and then wind them into balls and put them in the Box, as motivation for working hard on a project, or studying all night for a test. All the beautiful colors in the Box are my reward for finishing my assignments strong!) wow, I sound like a bit of a nerd, but oh well! I would love to win this yarn!

I heard about the giveaway via subscriber emails. I’d use some of this for kids projects in my queue so they’re nice and soft. I’m very curious about trying different hooks as well. I was told I have fibromyalgia last year which explains why some days I can’t use my hooks at all. Thanks for the giveaway! Gorgeous colours as ever.

I found out about this yarn giveaway from my email newsletter (?) I received. Oh what to do with it, let’s see first I’d have to show off this marvelous yarn to my baby sister who knits absolutely gorgeous things. We’d drink some coffee and drool over the skeins, have more coffee and touch and admire the colors and talk about various projects with it. This would take at least a couple of hours or more. (My sister has been known to spend hours in yarn stores!!!). Want to make something extra special for my daughter. Oh my so hoping to win!! Thank you for being generous with these yarn giveaways. PS I’d keep the hooks cuz I’m a crocheter!
