Chandi! What would I do with all of that delicious yarn? Well, first I’m sure I would have to sit far away from it so I wouldn’t drool all over it. LOL Then I think I would probably go through all of my saved Ravelry and other on-line patterns to find something worthy of such beauty. Then, decisions made, I’d get down to it. Forget all about anything that was bothering me and float away on a cloud from knitting nirvana.

This yarn is so beautiful, so needless to say I would certainly be making a few things for myself, but a few family members have birthdays coming up, they’re probably sick of knit gifts but they’re getting some anyway! I saw the posting about the giveaway both through the email newsletter and from the posting on Facebook. As for what I’d do with the yarn, I’d start off by sharing. I’d pass along the wool things to a friend who knits, because I have a wool allergy. And then I’d take everything remaining and crochet ALL THE THINGS. Or at least a good chunk of them. I probably covet more shawls, scarves, hats, vests, tunics, skirts, afghans, lapghans, and amigarumi than is in any way sensible.

What would I do if I won this?! The very first thing I would do is utter a ear piercing shriek followed by a bum wiggling happy dance. After that I would choose a few of my most favs (like the green, yellow and white or cotton candy pink, blue and white) and make myself cowls or hats (red and pink for a very cute heart hat pattern I have been eying on Ravelry but haven’t found the right yarn for) from them. I would then choose some to try my hand at socks (probably pink because who can be unhappy prancing around in pink socks) and a shrug (my two knitting goals for the year). Afterwards I would share the love and gift some of this beautiful collection to friends who are also fiber lovers.

    Hello,
I avidly crochet almost anything I can give as a gift. I find I don’t crochet unless I have someone to give it to. Mostly finding colors that make me think of a friend or family member is why I start projects. This year is the year of baby blankets and I cant be more thrilled to be crocheting almost daily.

And being I’m finding myself able to read crochet patterns with almost ease, I have decided to finally take the leap and learn to knit. I searched knitting for beginners on youtube and boom expression fiber arts was the first lesson. I was always super nervous to knit because it looks more complex then crocheting. But your videos make it looks so much simpler and not nearly as over whelming. So first thing tomorrow I will be picking up my first pair of knitting needles and trying my hand at it. No longer fearful.

But why do I want to win this yarn? Oh my, all the hats and cowls and scarfs and any little gift idea I could make for all my new baby nieces (2 in 3 months) not to mention my several other nephews who love their blankets I made for them last year. I’ve also been donating my works to benefits and charity. I never ask for anything in return because for me just the fulfillment I get from finishing a project is more than enough payment. And boy do I love that feeling I get when I finish a project. Just for the simple art of making things from nothing. That’s what I’d do.

I’m new to knitting and actually got my start by watching your knitting 101 videos on YouTube! I’ve been in love with all your yarn skeins in each of the emails I get but I haven’t taken the plung on buying much bc I still feel like a beginner and don’t want to use something so beautiful on something that doesn’t turn out that great… Winning would give me the courage to jump in with all those beautiful yarn skeins. As far as what I would do with them when I’m done, well I’ve been making my students all sorts of things all winter long (they don’t mind if it’s not perfect) so I would probably move on to making things for my friends and family as gifts. πŸ™‚ And of course, something beautiful for myself.

Oh gosh, what would I do with such luxurious yarns?

I’d like to horde it ALL to myself, but I couldn’t… As an owner of a Canadian Facebook Yarning Group, I’d have to share with the 11 beautiful Ladies of my Admin Team, because without them, our membership of Canadian Yarners wouldn’t be the group it is today! And of course, I wouldn’t be able to resist giving members an opportunity to win a couple skeins, or add to our Random Act of Kindness program to lift the spirits of a member going thru tough times… Yarn is better than chocolates right?!?

I am a beginner crocheter. I’ve completed a few projects so far. Crocheting is something that my grand pop and my great grandmom have done for their whole lives. I’d like to think its a family thing. I learned a lot from them and the YouTube tutorials by Chandi. I would love all this yarn to create new projects for my family and friends as gifts. They’ve all been super supportive of me starting this new hobby adventure. They love to see what I’m working on and how far I’ve gotten and the looks on their faces when it’s complete is what makes me want to keep creating. I would love for them to be able to share this yarn with me as completed creations they can use in their own lives.

I am on your mailing list and each e mail I receive lights up my day with all the luscious color combinations that you create. I long for a mix that I can weave together like the Dark Roast and something with turquoise and perhaps some rust so that it echoes a Native American look. I want to make a coat with patterns you see in a woven rug, long with pockets and warm as toast. I live in Colorado where winter is cold and snowy so that is needed.

I have nearly worked through my old stash and that has been my focus this past year. So, I find your delicious colors on your e mail and that is how I learned about your contest. I would love to win. I am a retired senior citizen and knitting is my love.At last I have the time to create love for those who need to be surrounded with warm. Finances have been tough lately and so I would be buying up as much of your yarn as I could if only I had the resources to do so. I do love what you produce. Thanks for listening.

What would I do with all this yarn? As new yarn comes in the house it goes downstairs to the stash area to be matched up with a pattern, usually. So I would match up some of the lovely yarns with some of my patterns for gifts, charity and myself and place them by project in the large woven hassocks in the living room. As I finish one project, I choose another from the upstairs collection. Then the leftover yarn would go into the downstairs craft room in its corresponding tub by fiber content. Currently there are 15 tubs. I would be more than happy to buy more if I won your giveaway.

Every day when I open the email notification from Chandi at Expression Fiberarts I look and drool and dream of the fantastic things I could make for my family. I always seem to be working on a blanket for another great grandbaby, a granddaughter wants a hat and scarf, a daughter wants a crocheted bedspread, I want a beautiful jacket for myself, a granddaughter-in-law wants a holiday tablecloth. Then there are the afghans as presents for friends, and hats for cancer patients, and the list goes on and on. I use only natural fiber yarn because synthetic fibers make my hand bleed, so I am always looking for new sources of natural fibers. I can’t wait to work up my first skein of Chandi’s beautiful yarn.
