Oh, I just don’t know.

I’m torn.

I am nearly finished with my Dark and Stormy Cardigan.

I have shoved aside all other projects (I still love you, Other Projects, and shall return to complete you in due time!) to finish this one.

Fall is here. In fact, we’re covered in SNOW and it’s cold. Understatement. I am ready to make fall accessories. Hats. Mittens. Scarves.

This sweater must be completed.

BUT.

It’s meant to have a shawl collar and I just don’t know if I’m into that anymore.

Here is what it’s “supposed” to look like:

THOUGHTS:

•It’s going to take an extra day or two of fairly focused knitting to do it. 3 or 4 days of “lazy” knitting.

•The previous sweater I made had a shawl collar so do I really need two sweaters with shawl collars? (Okay, admittedly, that’s a dumb reason. I could never have too many.)

•When you’re done you’re done and even finishing up these sleeves is boring me to ever-loving tears.

•Without the shawl collar, it’d be an awesome little cardigan to slip over most anything and wear a big, scrunchy cowl with.

•It feels more feminine… softer, somehow, without the big collar and front ribbing.

Oh Shoooooot. I just don’t know.

Do, DO let me know your thoughts… What do you think?

Should I do the collar/front ribbing? Or none and just leave it as is?

Oh, brilliant knitters and crocheters… hear my plea! Declare your wisdom and truth so mine eyes can see!

Okay. ‘Nuff said. I’m off to dye up scads of fall-inspired yarn colors. Wee!!

Let me know your thoughts on my sweater!

XOXOXO
